Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an information transmission method and a device. The method includes: sending, by a first device, indication information to a second device, where the indication information is used to indicate a report mode, and the report mode specifies content of measurement information to be reported by the second device; and receiving, by the first device, the measurement information sent by the second device, where the measurement information includes a measurement result that is obtained by the second device based on a reference signal sent by the first device, the reference signal is sent through transmit ports of the first device, the measurement information includes information about transmit port groups corresponding to the transmit ports, and the transmit port groups corresponding to the transmit ports are determined by using reception information of the second device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an uplink access method, a base station, and user equipment. The method includes: sending, by a base station, N signals and N pieces of physical random access channel PRACH resource indication information, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 2; and receiving, by the base station, a random access preamble sequence of the user equipment on PRACH resources indicated by the N pieces of PRACH resource indication information. Based on the foregoing solution, a quantity of random access preamble sequences sent by the user equipment is reduced, and uplink access complexity is reduced.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an information transmission method and a device. The method includes: sending, by a first device, M signals to a second device through N ports, where N and M are integers, and M≥N≥2; and receiving, by the first device, measurement information sent by the second device, where the measurement information is determined by the second device based on the M signals, and the measurement information is used to indicate a relationship between the N ports. Therefore, in the embodiments of this application, the relationship between the ports is determined by using characteristics of the ports on a side of the second device, so that the first device can relatively accurately determine the relationship between the ports, and the first device can perform appropriate communication management on the plurality of ports. This improves performance of transmission between the first device and the second device.

Abstract: A measurement and reporting method is provided. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, a measurement configuration from a base station, the measurement configuration indicates a plurality of measurement objects to be measured; obtaining measurement results and channel characteristic values respectively corresponding to the plurality of measurement objects; and sending channel characteristic values and measurement results respectively corresponding to some or all of the plurality of measurement objects, or group identification information and measurement results respectively corresponding to some or all of the plurality of measurement objects, where different groups correspond to different channel characteristic values. The base station determines, from a plurality of measurement object groups, a plurality of target measurement objects used to send data to the terminal. Different groups correspond to different channel characteristic values. Therefore the plurality of target measurement objects from the plurality of measurement object groups are not easily shielded at the same time.
