    Abstract: Disclosed are systems and a methods for monitoring a back seat in a transporter based on a head up display (HUD), the system a back seat display mounted on the back seat, and the HUD to display monitoring information selected by a user, image information filmed by a camera, and control information for an image displayed on the back seat display, and a processor configured to transmit and receive a control signal between the camera, the back seat display, and the HUD, and control zoom-in or zoom-out of a first area of the HUD where the monitoring information is displayed to not overlap a second area where driving control information is displayed, wherein the image information comprises an image content displayed on the back seat display, a reproduction time of the image content, and a number or a reproduction time of image contents after a point in time.

    Abstract: A method for automatically controlling an in-cabin environment for a passenger in an autonomous vehicle includes monitoring a state of the passenger via a video sensor; determining whether the state of the passenger corresponds to one of preset states of a predetermined number; and adjusting, when the state corresponds to the one of the preset states, any one or any combination of any two or more of a seat, an air conditioning system, a lighting system, a sound system, a variable window tinting, and a variable sunroof of the autonomous vehicle based on the state. The determining of the state of the passenger includes detecting a plurality of determination target objects from a video of the video sensor, cropping an image of each of the plurality of determination target objects, and determining whether the state of the passenger corresponds to the one of the preset states.
