摘要: It becomes possible for a user to set a transmission or reception channel arbitrarily and easily, by having each piece of equipment connected to an IEEE 1394 bus include a register provided within a RAM 113 to thereby set a transmission or reception default channel. If channels used in the transmission and the reception are not set when the transmission is started, then the default channel may be used. When equipment is set to a channel setting mode by operating an operation section 116, a control section 112 may display a channel setting picture on a display section 115. In this state, a user may select a set channel by operating an up-key 116a and a down-key 116b of the operation section 116. Thereafter, when a user operates a “YES” key 116c, the control section 112 may write a selected channel in the above-mentioned register, and ends a default channel setting operation. A user can set the transmission or reception channel arbitrarily and easily.

摘要: When a signal path in a signal outputting device is changed, the signal outputting device indicates signal path change information representing the change in the signal path to a signal inputting device. Based on the signal path change information, the signal inputting device adaptively changes a signal path between the signal outputting device and the signal inputting device. The signal inputting device can know the signal path in the signal outputting device easier than heretofore, and can simply change the signal path between the signal outputting device and the signal inputting device.

摘要: The present invention relates to a signal processing system, and proposes the switching operation of device selection which is naturally performed for a user. The signal input device 5 comprises a registration means for registering the signal output devices 3, 4, and an establishment means for, when an establishment request signal requesting the establishment of a signal path is sent from any signal output device 3, 4 out of a plurality of the signal output devices 3, 4, judging whether the signal output device 3, 4, which sent the establishment request signal, is registered in the signal input device 5, and establishing the signal path between the signal output device 3, 4 and the signal input device 5 depending on the judged result, thereby avoiding unnatural operation which is not performed in accordance with user operation, thus making it possible to perform the switching operation of device selection which is naturally performed for a user.

摘要: An astrocyte-specific drug carrier containing a retinoid derivative and/or a vitamin A analog as a constituent; a drug delivery method with the use of the same; a drug containing the same; and a therapeutic method with the use of the drug. By binding a drug carrier to a retinoid derivative such as vitamin A or a vitamin A analog or encapsulating the same in the drug carrier, a drug for therapeutic use can be delivered specifically to astrocytes. As a result, an astrocyte-related disease can be efficiently and effectively inhibited or prevented while minimizing side effects. As the drug inhibiting the activity or growth of astrocytes, for example, a siRNA against HSP47 which is a collagen-specific molecule chaperone may be encapsulated in the drug carrier. Thus, the secretion of type I to type IV collagens can be inhibited at the same time and, in its turn, fibrosis can be effectively inhibited.

摘要: A vehicle includes a first drive device and a second drive device. The first drive device includes a motor, a motor control device, a connection-disconnection device, and a connection-disconnection device controller. When the vehicle is driven in a state where a driving force of the first drive device is substantially zero, or the vehicle is driven only by a driving force of the second drive device, the connection-disconnection device controller couples the connection-disconnection device to establish a connected state of the connection-disconnection device. The motor control device is configured to perform loss reduction control on the motor to reduce at least one of a loss of the motor and a loss in a power transmission path in power transmitted to the first driving wheel, by establishing the connected state of the connection-disconnection device.

摘要: After a selection key bundle is determined by a selection key bundle determining process, the following first authentication key authenticating process is executed. An authentication processing part selects a selection encryption key from selection key bundle following a predetermined association based on a received random-number data. On the other hand, another authentication processing part selects an encryption key from the selection key bundle as a selection encryption key, following the association based on the received random-number data, encrypts the random-number data using the selection encryption key so as to acquire encrypted random-number data and transmits to the former authentication processing part. The former authentication processing part decrypts the encrypted random-number data using the selection encryption key so as to acquire decrypted random-number data and then determines whether that authentication is acceptable based on a comparison between the transmission time original random-number data and decrypted random-number data.
