    Abstract: A drainage system for draining water from an air intake and from an air distribution housing of an air conditioning system into the environment. The drainage system including a drainage opening or the drainage of water into the environment, wherein the drainage opening is formed on a lower shell of the air distribution housing and is divided into a drainage area for water from the air intake housing on the one hand, and a drainage area for water from the air distribution housing on the other hand, and wherein the drainage area for water from the air intake housing is formed by the terminus of a separate duct for the drainage of water from the air intake. In this way, the reciprocal effect between the different pressure levels is avoided or reduced to the extent possible.

    Abstract: A heating and air conditioning device includes a warm air path that leads through a heat exchanger to a mixing chamber and to outlets of the heating and air conditioning device, and a cold air path that leads from the evaporator to the mixing chamber and the outlets of the heating and air conditioning device. A warm air duct is located at an end of the warm air path and an entrance to the mixing chamber. A cold air duct is located at the end of the cold air path and the entrance to the mixing chamber. One or more openings are formed on one of a side wall of the warm air duct and a side wall of the cold air duct so that air can flow from the cold air path into the warm air duct and from the warm air path into the cold air duct.

    Abstract: An air conditioning system includes an intake housing with a fresh air opening and a recirculation air opening, a filter housing to admit an air filter and a fan housing with a fan for intake by suction of air through the intake housing and directing the air through the filter housing. The fresh air opening and the recirculating air opening are aligned in a common horizontal direction and in a vertical direction one above the other. The recirculating air opening is situated in the gravitational direction beneath the fresh air opening. Between the fresh air opening and the recirculating air opening a separation area is configured, with drainage means in such a way that the fluid penetrating into the fresh air opening, when flowing over the drainage means is directed past the recirculating air opening in a receiving area placed below the recirculating air opening.

    Abstract: A housing including at least one flow path in fluid communication with a mixing chamber, a windshield air outlet, a windshield air flap, a dashboard air outlet, and a dashboard air flap. A bypass is in fluid communication with the dashboard outlet and configured to conduct a cool air flow around the at least one flow path and the mixing chamber. A flow conduit extends from the mixing chamber to the windshield air outlet. The flow conduit is constructed as one part and comprises a wall enclosing a circumference thereof. The flow conduit extends through the bypass, wherein the warm air flow is separated from a warm air flow through the flow conduit by the wall of the flow conduit. The bypass is formed in a bipartite manner around the flow conduit.
