    Abstract: A heat exchanger with increased heat transfer capability includes first and second end plates, tubes extending between the first and second end plates and fins disposed between the tubes. The heat exchanger is disposable within and differs in shape from a space defined between first and second walls such that corners of the first end plate abut the first wall and a point of the second end plate abuts the second wall, the first wall diverges from the corners of the first end plate to define a first open region and the second wall diverges from the point of the second end plate to define second open regions. At least one of the first end plate and the second end plates includes enhancements fluidly communicative with the at least one corresponding one of the first open region and the second open regions.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a heat exchanger includes stacking a plurality of parting sheets, a plurality of lengthwise closure bars, and a plurality of widthwise closure bars to form a rectangular first heat exchanger section. The first heat exchanger section includes at least one widthwise passage extending between a pair of the widthwise closure bars and at least one lengthwise passage extending between a pair of the lengthwise closure bars. The method also includes brazing the rectangular first heat exchanger section together and cutting a first side and a second side of the rectangular first heat exchanger section to give the first heat exchanger section a tapered-trapezoid profile. The method further includes brazing an end of a second heat exchanger section to the first or second side of the first heat exchanger section.

An exterior of the flange is positioned at a distance of about 1.012 from an origin of the rounded portion.

    Abstract: A support bracket for a cabin air compressor (CAC) assembly includes a CAC mounting portion with a plurality of CAC mounting holes distributed in an arc configuration along a CAC mounting hole circle radius. A support portion includes a ramped face that transitions to an upper lug portion and a substantially perpendicular face relative to the CAC mounting portion. An upper lug extends from the upper lug portion. The upper lug includes a coupling hole that is offset from a first CAC mounting hole of the CAC mounting holes at a length in a first direction and a length in a second direction. A ratio of the CAC mounting hole circle radius to the length in the first direction is between 2.14 and 2.20, and a ratio of the CAC mounting hole circle radius to the length in the second direction is between 1.16 and 1.19.
