Abstract: Disclosed is an air conditioner for a vehicle which has inside air intake ports formed on the side surface of a cylindrical intake duct and the side surface of a cylindrical intake door so as to partially inhale inside air during an outside air inflow mode, thereby reducing manufacturing processes and manufacturing costs because there is no need to add a separate component for inhaling inside air in the outside air inflow mode, controlling intake amounts of outside air and inside air through a recess part formed on the outer circumferential surface of the intake door, and enhancing cooling and heating performance by partially inhaling inside air during the outside air inflow mode.

Abstract: A vehicular heat management system is provided with a heat pump type refrigerant circulation line that cools and heats specific air conditioning regions by generating a hot air or a cold air depending on a flow direction of a refrigerant. The system includes a compressor configured to suck, compress and discharge the refrigerant, a high-pressure side heat exchanger configured to dissipate heat of the refrigerant discharged from the compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger configured to allow the refrigerant to exchange heat with an air outside the vehicle, an expansion valve configured to depressurize the refrigerant flowing out of the high-pressure side heat exchanger or the outdoor heat exchanger, and one or more low-pressure side heat exchangers configured to evaporate the depressurized refrigerant. The outdoor heat exchanger and the low-pressure side heat exchangers are connected in series or in parallel depending on an air conditioning mode.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle having a rear seat outlet, which can relieve temperature inversion that discharge temperature of the console vent becomes higher than discharge temperature of a rear seat floor vent in a bi-level mode, and prevent reduction of air volume of the console vent in the cooling mode. The air conditioner for a vehicle, which has a rear seat outlet, includes an air-conditioning case having an air passageway formed therein and a plurality of air outlets, and a cooling heat exchanger and a heating heat exchanger disposed in the air passageway of the air-conditioning case to exchange heat with air passing through the air passageway, wherein the air outlets include a console vent and a rear seat floor vent, and an entrance of the rear seat floor vent is formed above an entrance of the console vent.

Abstract: Disclosed is an air conditioner for a vehicle and a controlling method thereof. The air conditioner includes: a defrost vent and a face vent formed in a straight line; a defrost door part and a face door part formed in a straight line; and a duct separator having the defrost door part therein and being mounted inside an outlet, in which the defrost vent and the face vent are formed, to partition the defrost vent and the face vent, thereby enhancing assemblability by facilitating assembly even if the defrost door part and the face door part are mounted at different angles. Moreover, the air conditioner and the controlling method thereof can control an air outflow mode and an air inflow mode to be operated in interwork by connecting a first operating member for operating a mode door and a second operating member for operating an intake door with each other.

Abstract: Disclosed is a blower unit of an air conditioner for a vehicle which is freely changed in design of an intake unit of a blower case, increases dust collection efficiency of an air filter, and improves continuity of filtration-to-area efficiency so as to increase an exchange cycle of the air filter. The blower unit includes a blower case having an inside air inlet for introducing inside air and an outside air inlet for introducing outside air, a blower wheel disposed inside the blower case and rotated by a blower motor, and an air filter disposed at the upstream side of the blower wheel in an air flow direction to filter impurities. The air filter includes: a main filter part corresponding to an air intake area; and auxiliary filter parts which are formed in the outside direction of the air intake area.
