Abstract: Provided is a process for preparing a biodegradable polyester resin with suppressed discoloration and to a biodegradable polyester resin prepared by the process. The biodegradable polyester resin prepared by the above preparation process can be used for applications such as disposable films or sheets, tableware, and agricultural films or sheets since its discoloration is effectively suppressed.
