Abstract: A coating or washing apparatus and method that utilizes a reel to receive tubings, the tubings receive elongate flimsy members at tubing inlets and provide circulating fluid for coating the flimsy members. An elevator raises and lowers tubing inlets while maintaining fluid circulation; the raising corresponds with an unwinding of the tubings from the reel and lowering the tubing inlets corresponds with winding the tubings on the reel.
