    摘要: In an electronic watch, a hand wheel gear 109b in a gear train has a tooth 124 having a profile K so as to prevent the backward movement of a hand 104. During initialization, the gear train is rotated backward such that the hand 104 is turned to the backward movement preventing position, which serves as an initializing position, and a reference position during detection of a hand position. Usually, a backward movement command is issued when the hand 104 is supposed to be at the reference position. The hand 104 is judged to be out of the reference position when its backward movement is detected.

    摘要: A hand hoist comprises a brake support member (1) for supporting brake plates (24, 25) and firmly mounted on a driving shaft (20) detachably connected through gears to a load pulley (32). A brake biasing member (2) is threadedly engaged on the brake support member by means of a ball screw (43-45), and a retainer ring (3) is fixed to an outer surface of the brake biasing member. A friction transmission ring (5) having a frusto-conical friction outer surface (4) is non-rotatably fitted on the retainer ring, and a manually rotated member (6) for rotating the brake biasing member relative to the brake support member includes a frusto-conical inner surface (7) mating with the frictional outer surface of the transmission ring. Belleville springs (9) urge these frusto-conical surfaces against each other, and they are made of different metals, such as steel, bronze or brass. The retainer ring is provided at its end with a plurality of rotation preventing protrusions (47) circumferentially equally spaced apart, side edges of which abut against pins ( 12,13) planted in holes of the friction transmission ring.

    摘要: An outboard motor is configured for steering by a tiller arm. The tiller arm is moveable relative to the outboard motor about a transverse axis and is arranged to steer the motor about the vertical axis. The outboard motor further has a power head that contains a vibration engine and is comprised of a protective cowling and lower tray. A tiller arm mounting bracket is secured to the power head and a mounting structure extends from the tiller arm. A resilient member is juxtaposed between the mounting bracket and the mounting structure. A gap is defined between a face of the resilient member and the tiller arm such that the resilient member may freely vibrate within the gap without that face of resilient member contacting the tiller and directly translating vibrational energy to the tiller arm.
