摘要: The present invention refers to a method of infiltrating enamel for the prevention and/or treatment of carious lesions comprising (a) exposing an enamel area to a conditioner comprising hydrochloric acid; (b) exposing the conditioned enamel area to an infiltrant; and (c) curing the infiltrant. The present invention further refers to a kit for carrying out the method of infiltrating enamel, which comprises a conditioner comprising hydrochloric acid and an infiltrant comprising at least one low viscous dental resin. Alternatively, the kit comprises ready-to-use means for carrying out the method of infiltrating enamel, e.g. application strips with delivery pads soaked with conditioner or infiltrant. The present invention also refers to a method for identifying an infiltrant by calculation of the penetration coefficient, and to an infiltrant identified by the method having a penetration coefficient of >50 cm/s or comprising a low viscous light curing resin having a penetration coefficient of >50 cm/s.

摘要: The invention relates to a dental impression tray comprising a base and at least two walls defining said base. At least one of these walls is at least partially formed by hollow bodies made of flexible material. Said hollow bodies can be filled in order to form, when taut, the desired shape for using the mould tray. In order to provide sufficient longitudinal stability for the impression tray, at least one of the walls is fitted with a rigid longitudinal rib. Said wall can also be rigid in its entirety. The hollow bodies which are to be filled can be fitted with openings. The moulding material filling the hollow bodies can flow from said openings into the moulding region of the dental impression tray. The base is flexible.

摘要: The subject of the invention is a dynamic mixer for viscous compositions, in particular for components for dental impression compounds. The mixer consists of a mixer tube, a rotor located in the latter, and an end wall with inlet openings through which the components to be mixed pass into the mixer. In doing so, they first alternately fill chambers arranged on the rotor. The composition then flows out of the chambers through admission openings into the mixing channel, where it can be stirred by mixer blades.
