摘要: A method for arbitrating display output on a display device of a computer system comprises comparing a candidate display area with each rendering display area in a rendering collection and each waiting display area in a waiting collection, and determining whether at least one dependency exists for the candidate display area based on the comparing step, wherein the candidate display area is placed in the waiting queue when at least one dependency exists. The method further includes placing the candidate display area in the rendering collection when the at least one dependency does not exist. The method of arbitration includes releasing the current rendering display area. A method for scheduling display of data on a computer display device includes subdividing partitions of an output screen of the computer display device into display areas, determining whether at least one conflict exists between candidate display data, rendering display data in a rendering collection, and waiting display data in a waiting queue, and adding the candidate display data appropriately to either the rendering collection or the waiting queue based on at least one conflict existing.

摘要: The present invention essentially comprises an upper assembly having a securing receptor with a guide track, a lower assembly having a securing receptor with a guide track, a bi-fold partition having a top portion and a bottom portion wherein the top portion is received by the upper assembly and the bottom portion is secured by the lower assembly. In a preferred construction, the bottom portion of the partition further has a cooperatively attached pin or foot bolt that is generally received by the lower assembly. When the partition is secured in such a fashion, the partition forms a compartment often referred to as a tack room. To release the partition, the pin is pulled in upward direction and the partition slid out of the lower and upper assembly wherein the partition can be folded and stored along the sidewall of the trailer and in essence removes the tack room sub-compartmentalization.

摘要: An innovative technique for minimizing the visual artifacts created by scaling an image is disclosed. More particularly, a factor that adds a degree of pseudo-randomness to the location of values generated as output during the scaling process is incorporated in one embodiment, the initial value of the error term used to generate the series is set on a semi-random basis such that the output pixels generated are offset from one another on different rows or columns of the image. Thus, any banding artifacts which are created using the prior art process will be minimized due to the shifting of pixels.

摘要: A method and apparatus for synchronizing the presentation of time dependent data to a first dock having a first frequency is disclosed. First, a rate conversion is performed on a data stream for a first time period. Second, the rate of conversion is modified to provide a modified rate of conversion. Third, a rate of conversion having a modified rate of conversion is performed on the data stream for a second time period. The second and third steps are repeated until all samples in the data stream are presented. The rate of conversion is modified from one period to the next based on a measurement of the difference between a rate for the first clock and the rate of a second less precise clock.

摘要: A mounting apparatus for a radio frequency identification system is disclosed. The mounting apparatus includes a base and a frame. The frame has an upper section that is adjustable relative to the lower section to provide different configurations such as heights, and capable of being separated into two or more of its component parts to facilitate storage, shipping (particularly shipping via commercial carriers such as UPS that have maximum container sizes and/or configurations), break down, mobility, adjustability, and the like. A translucent or transparent cover encloses the frame and RFID components to all visual access to the components therein. A system comprising two portals connected by bridge having an adjustable bridge.

摘要: A drill head capable of attachment to a drilling machine for insertion of rock bolts into rock strata. The drill head comprising: a base block adapted to facilitate attachment to the drilling machine; driving spindle mechanism having a member at one end which receives a proximal end of a rock bolt including an internal cavity; an injection assembly including at least one internal passage for retaining a grouting compound. When the rock bolt is inserted in the member and when the injection assembly engages the member, the passage is in communication with the internal cavity in the rock bolt; whereupon the injection assembly operates to inject a predetermined quantity of the grouting compound into a bolt hole in the rock strata via the internal cavity of the bolt.
