摘要: In some examples, a media conditioner includes a conveying component to convey a sheet of printable media, a heating element to heat the conveying component, a temperature sensor to measure a temperature of the conveying component, a media sensor to detect the sheet of printable media, and a controller to provide a power level to the heating element. A temperature set-point is set to a pre-established value. Based on data from the temperature sensor, the controller is to maintain the temperature of the conveying component at the temperature set-point by varying the power level. The controller is to apply a boost to the power level based on a signal from the media sensor while the temperature set-point remains at the pre-established value.

摘要: Example printer finishing apparatus are described herein. An example printer disclosed herein includes an alignment guide, a track to align a sheet relative to the alignment guide, a clamp to move between a raised position and a lowered position relative to the sheet, and a force applicator coupled to the clamp. The force applicator is to cause the sheet to engage the alignment guide when the clamp is in the lowered position.

摘要: Power allocation in printing devices is disclosed. Independent load requests are received from printing device heater systems. Power grants are allocated based on a general power arbitration of a power source in response to the independent load requests. A power grant is adjusted based on a contextual printing condition to provide an adjusted grant from the power source to a printing device heater system of the printing device heater systems.

摘要: A printer including a print bar and a dryer system. The print bar operates to deposit printing material in accordance with a print job. The dryer system operates to intake and heat air from an internal region in which one or more electrical components of the printer are located. The dryer system directs the heated air through multiple outlets that are acutely angled with respect to a location or media of deposited printing material, to dry the printing material while cooling the internal region of the printer.

摘要: Example implementations relate to print media stacks. In some examples, a device may include a sheet channel to guide a sheet of print media within the sheet channel above and separated in a vertical direction from a stack of printed media when the sheet of print media exits a print path of a printer. The device may include a plurality of clamps to control alignment of the sheet of print media on the stack of printed media when the sheet channel moves outboard from the sheet of print media to allow the sheet of print media to fall onto the stack of printed media, wherein the plurality of clamps sequentially pin the sheet of print media to the stack of printed media from a middle portion of the sheet of print media outward.

摘要: According to examples, an apparatus may include instructions that may cause the processor to identify, for a first device state, a first set of active components of a device and to determine a first power demand level of the first set of active components for the first device state. The instructions may also cause the processor to determine that the device is to transition from the first device state to a second device state, to determine, for the second device state, a second set of active components of the device having a second power demand level that is within a predefined difference level of the first power demand level, the predefined difference level to smooth power delivery to the device between the first device state and the second device state, and to control application of power to the second set of active components during the second device state.
