    摘要: Based on information that is transmitted to a UPS communication part by UPSs connected to an information processing apparatus, a UPS monitoring part monitors the states of the UPSs. A UPS control part employs the monitoring results to generate control information for controlling the state of at least one of the UPSs, and permits the UPS communication part to transmit the control information to the UPS that is to be controlled. The present invention can be applied for a computer having a redundant power supply function.

    摘要: A UPS monitoring part monitors a state of a UPS, on the basis of an information which was transmitted from the UPS which was connected to an information processing apparatus, and received by a UPS communication part. A UPS control part, on the basis of a result of that monitoring, generates a control information for individually controlling respective states of a plurality of electric power output parts of the UPS, in accordance with a condition of power-off of each load which was connected to the corresponding electric power output part, and carries out a control for transmitting it from the UPS communication part to the UPS.
