摘要： A system and method for making menu items easily adjustable on the setting screen of a camera with regard to the predetermined object to be operated. The camera setting utility screen for the CCD camera is displayed on the liquid crystal display any one of the plural number of menu items is selected from said camera setting utility screen displayed according to the rotation operation and the push operation of the jog dial. The setting condition with regard to the menu item selected is adjusted corresponding to the rotation operation and the push operation of the jog dial. The CCD camera is set to the setting condition adjusted, such that operation of selection of menu item to the adjustment of setting condition can be conducted merely by the rotation operation and the push operation of the jog dial.

[Solution]According to the present invention, since the camera setting utility screen 320 for the CCD camera 23 is displayed on the liquid crystal display 21, any one of the plural number of menu items is selected from said camera setting utility screen 320 displayed according to the rotation operation and the push operation of the jog dial 30, the setting condition with regard to the menu item selected is adjusted corresponding to the rotation operation and the push operation of the jog dial 30, and the CCD camera 23 is to be set to said setting condition adjusted, the whole processing from the selection of menu item to the adjustment of setting condition can be conducted only by the rotation operation and the push operation of the jog dial 30.

摘要： A display displays a capture mode displaying source image data and a send mode displaying processed image data, which is to be sent. The display simultaneously displays, upon a switch from the capture mode to the send mode, the processed image data and a manipulation. The manipulation includes pixel values of the source image data and dummy values. An input inputs an address of a terminal to which the processed image data is to be transmitted. A transmitter transmits an address of a terminal together with the processed image data over a network to a server such that the server executes a processing for providing the processed image data to the terminal. An image data processor determines an image processing capacity of the terminal and converts an image size of the source image data such that the processed image data is commensurate with the image processing capacity of the terminal.

摘要： A display control apparatus includes the following elements. An accepting unit accepts selection of one of objects displayed in a window in either a cursor mode, in which a cursor is moved to select an object, or a pointer mode, in which a pointer is moved to select an object, one of the modes being selected by a user. When an instruction to switch the pointer mode to the cursor mode is given, a display control unit erases the pointer and displays the cursor such that the cursor selects an object closest to a position where the pointer was displayed just before being erased.

摘要： A LED printer utilizing a low resolution print engine for forming high resolution images is disclosed, in which a virtual 2N dpi high density image (latent image) is formed on a photosensitive medium by effectively turn-on controlling an array of LED elements arranged at a pitch of N dpi on a line in the main scanning direction.For each scanning line, a plurality of divisional exposure lines are produced for turning on the LED elements 2 m times (for instance 2.times.4 times) in the auxiliary scanning direction. For the turn-on control of the LED elements, weighted arithmetic operation values are obtained by multiplying the center bit and one or more adjacent bits thereto in the main scanning direction of the 2N dpi high density image data by respectively corresponding constants, and they are summed up to obtain sum data. According to the sum data the number of times of turning on the LED elements on the divisional exposure lines is controlled to form 2N dpi high density image on the photosensitive medium.
