摘要： In a drive apparatus for a pivotable window pane held pivotally at one end thereof by a window frame through hinges, an output shaft driven by an electric motor through a reduction mechanism is coupled to a first link which in turn is coupled to the other end of the window pane through a second link and a hinge. The first link and the second link are so arranged that the joint therebetween moves along an arcuate path. The output shaft is positioned at a side closer to the hinge than the center of the arcuate path is. Further, the joint moves within the outer confine of the motor and the reduction mechanism.

摘要： A power window actuator including an electric motor, a reduction gear train for reducing rotational speed of the motor and a linkage mechanism connected to the gear train opens and closes a pivotable quarter window or a rear side vent. The rotation of the motor is mechanically stopped by structural members totally enclosed in a housing containing the motor and the gear train when the pivotable window comes to a fully opened or a fully closed position. An electric current supply to the motor is automatically discontinued by operation of a controller. To enclose the structural members for stopping the motor in the housing, a first projection is formed on a final stage gear of the gear train and a second projection on an inside surface of the housing. Both projections abut against each other to stop the motor when the pivotable window is driven to predetermined positions. Thus, the actuator is made small in size and at a low cost.

摘要： Cromoglycic acid derivatives of the general formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is an .alpha.-, .beta.- or .gamma.-amino acid residue (for ester bonding) whose amino group may optionally be substituted by at least one lower alkyl group, and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each independently is a lower alkyloxy-substituted or an unsubstituted lower alkyl group, an 1-alkanoyloxyalkyl group, an 1-alkoxycarbonyloxyalkyl group, a phthalidyl group or a 5-methyl-1,3-dioxol-2-on-4-ylmethyl group; nontoxic salts thereof; and pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds. Since the compounds have antiallergic activity and are readily absorbable into the blood stream, they are useful as oral antiallergic agents.

摘要： A pinched object detection apparatus includes a couple of pressure sensors arranged at lateral end portions of a backdoor of a vehicle and another couple of pressure sensors arranged at lateral end portions of a rear opening of the vehicle. An object pinched between the lateral end portions of the rear gate and the backdoor can be detected with the corresponding pressure sensor arranged at the backdoor or pressure sensor arranged at the rear opening. Furthermore, an object pinched between the lateral end of the rear opening and an opposing gas damper can be detected with the corresponding pressure sensor arranged at the rear opening.

摘要： In an electric motor having a rotation detection sensor, a pair of engagement recesses are provided on an axial end surface of a resin cylindrical body of a commutator. A permanent magnet is held around a rotary shaft of the motor with its one axial end surface being in abutment with the axial end surface of the cylindrical body. A pair of engagement recesses is provided on the other axial end surface of the magnet. A resin busing having a cylindrical part and a disk part is fitted on the rotary shaft at the side of the other axial end surface of the magnet. A pair of engagement protrusions is formed on the cylindrical part to be engaged with the engagement recesses of the cylindrical body, thereby restricting a relative movement between the bushing and the cylindrical body. Further, a pair of engagement protrusions is formed on the disk part to be engaged with the engagement recesses of the magnet, thereby restricting a relative movement between the bushing and the magnet. Thus, the magnet of the rotation sensor is fixedly mounted around the rotary shaft without using an adhesive bond.

摘要： A resistor formed by a laminated structure having a resistance body interposed between two conductive plates, electrical connection members being connected to the conductive plates, and a method for manufacturing the resistor.
