摘要: To improve the separation efficiency of a gas-liquid separator in the gas-liquid separator and an air conditioner, the gas-liquid separator having a vessel with an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe is arranged such that an exit end section of the inlet pipe is formed to be closed or to have a gap, an expanded end section having a width greater than the diameter of that portion of the inlet pipe which crosses a container of the gas-liquid separator is provided, and that a lateral hole is formed in a side face of the expanded end section. Refrigerant vapor and refrigerant liquid are efficiently separated from each other at the expanded end section, and this improves separation efficiency of the gas-liquid separator.

摘要: The present invention relates to the friction material for the use of disc brake pads and brake shoes for automotive brake devices, and an object of the present invention is to provide the friction material with sufficiently stable braking force and sufficient mechanical strength. In the friction material without a metal or a metal alloy, the friction material includes the plate-like titanate with average particle diameter of 10 to 50 μm and the hydrous magnesium silicate. An amount of the plate-like titanate and the hydrous magnesium silicate is 20 to 30 volume percent relative to the total amount of the friction material, and the volume ratio of the plate-like titanate and the hydrous magnesium silicate is 12:1 to 5:1. Also, the average particle diameter of the plate-like titanate is 20 to 40 μm, and the plate-like titanate is preferably potassium hexatitanate.

摘要: In a reactor vessel (20) covered by cooling water (2), a tubular frame (10) with a bottom is hung within the cooling water (2) while still having an air environment in the interior, and the bottom section of the frame (10) is disposed within the reactor vessel (20), thereby achieving an air environment within the reactor vessel (20). Furthermore, since repairs to the reactor vessel (20) are performed by using the frame (10) while still having the air environment in the interior, this leads to the prevention of contamination and achieves improvements in working conditions such as preventing the generation of dust and reducing decontamination work. Accordingly, repairs can be performed in an air environment without draining the cooling water (2) within the reactor vessel (20), even in a state in which the reactor vessel (20) is covered by the cooling water (2).

摘要: A friction material is made by molding and curing a composition containing a fibrous base that includes stainless steel fibers but not other steel fibers, a binder, and a friction modifier that includes at least two types of hard particles having a large Mohs hardness, bronze powder and a specific amount of tin sulfide. The friction material has a excellent balance of properties, including a high strain linearity that provides a excellent brake feel, a high torque linearity and a excellent effectiveness, and also minimizes disc rotor attack, disc pad wear and metal pickup. Such friction materials are particularly suitable for automotive applications, such as disc pads.

摘要: A process for modifying a fibrous product containing cellulosic fibers which comprises treating said fibrous product with a solution or dispersion containing a particular acrylic copolymer having a glycidyl group and an alkylene oxide sidechain, drying the fibrous product; and heat-treating it in the presence of an acid catalyst at a temperature sufficient to cleave the oxirane linkage of the glycidyl group. This process can impart superior dry and wet crease resistances, shrinkage resistance and wash and wear properties and also soil removing ability, resistance to redeposition, water absorption and water penetrability to fibrous products containing cellulosic fibers while retaining their mechanical strength characteristics.

摘要: An anaphora analyzing apparatus is disclosed for automatically estimating an anaphora referential relation or an antecedent of a noun for use in a natural language sentence. A storage unit stores analyzed results outputted from an analyzer, and an antecedent candidate generator detects a target component required for anaphora analysis in accordance with the current analyzed results and the past analyzed results stored in the storage unit, and generates antecedent candidates corresponding to the target component. Then, a candidate rejecting section rejects unnecessary candidates having no potential for anaphora referential relation among the antecedent candidates by using a predetermined rejecting criterion, and outputs the remaining antecedent candidates. Further, a preference giving section calculates a predetermined estimated value for each of the remaining antecedent candidates by referring to an information table including predetermined estimation information obtained from a predetermined training tagged corpus, and gives the antecedent candidates preference in accordance with the calculated estimated value. Finally, a candidate deciding section decides a predetermined number of antecedent candidates based on a given preference in accordance with the preferenced antecedent candidates.
