    摘要: An image forming device includes a main body and a door. The main body is provided with first and second contacting parts and an abutting surface. When the door is closed, the first and second contacting parts contact a door frame of the door, thereby determining the horizontal position of the door with respect to the main body. Also a vertical positioning stopper formed to the door frame abuts the abutting surface from above, thereby determining the vertical position of the door with respect to the main body. Further, a reactive force generated at a lock mechanism and an urging force of a spring increase a pressure to contact areas of the door with the first and second contacting parts and the abutting surface.

    摘要: A developing cartridge that maintains a pressing condition to press a developer carrier against the image carrier is described. The developing cartridge may include a coil spring that presses the developer carrier against the image carrier. The coil spring may include a handle that transmits a pressing force to the coil spring via the contacting member. By doing so, every time the developing cartridge is replaced, a new coil spring and handle can be provided for the color laser printer with the developing cartridge attached. Therefore, a constant pressure by the coil spring can be continuously maintained. Thus, a preferable pressure condition of the developer carrier against the image carrier can be continuously maintained.

A latch mechanism is supported on the pod body side surface of the flange portion in such a way that the latch mechanism can slide along a direction parallel to the side wall of the flange. An engagement portion of the latch mechanism reaches the engaged portion through the insertion hole, and the state of the latch mechanism changes between an engaged state and a disengaged state with movement of the latch mechanism.

    摘要: A fixing device has a frame, a heating roller, a press roller, a peeler, a guide member, a first bias unit, and a wheel. The heating roller is provided to the frame to produce heat, the heating roller having a roller rotation axis and a cylindrical surface. The press roller is pressed against the cylindrical surface to feed a recording medium together with the heating roller along a feeding path. The peeler is provided to the frame having a peeling surface having a leading edge. The leading edge faces the cylindrical surface to peel off the recording medium on the cylindrical surface. The guide member is positioned facing the peeling surface to guide the recording medium which has passed through between the heating roller and the press roller to downstream of the feeding path. The guide member is movable between a near position and a far position, the near position being closer to the peeling surface than the far position. The first bias unit biases the guide member to the near position. The wheel is supported to the frame and having a wheel rotation axis and a circumferential edge. The wheel rotation axis is parallel to the roller rotation axis. The wheel is positioned in a manner that a part of the circumferential edge protrudes from the peeling surface to the guiding member in a virtual plane perpendicular to the wheel rotation axis.
