摘要: Disclosed is a ceramic capacitor of a mono-layer structure or a multi-layer structure, which has characteristic X7R (characteristic B) and which is high in reliability in direct current breakdown voltage at 125.degree. C. and small in size. The ceramic capacitor has a dielectric layer and internal electrodes disposed so as to interpose the dielectric layer. The dielectric layer is composed of a sintered body of ceramic particles whose core sections are made mainly of BaTiO.sub.3 and whose shell sections are made from BaTiO.sub.3 in the form of a solid solution composed of an oxide of one or more than one element selected from Mg, Ca, Sr and Zn and an oxide of one or more than one element selected from Sc, Y, Gd, Dy, Ho, Er, Yb, Tb, Tm and Lu.

摘要: A monolithic capacitor having a dielectric ceramic body cosintered with at least two base metal electrodes. The ceramic body is composed of a major ingredient expressed by the formula,(1-.alpha.){(Ba.sub.k-x M.sub.x)O.sub.k TiO.sub.2 }+.alpha.CaZrO.sub.3where M is either or both of magnesium and zinc, and .alpha., k and y are numerals in specified ranges. To this major ingredient is added a minor proportion of a mixture of lithium oxide, silicon dioxide and at least one metal oxide selected from among barium oxide, strontium oxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide and zinc oxide. For the fabrication of capacitors the mixture of the above major ingredient and additives in finely divided form are formed into moldings of desired shape and size, each with at least two electrodes buried therein. The moldings and electrodes are cosintered in a reductive or neutral atmosphere at temperatures of less than 1200.degree. C. and then are reheated at a lower temperature in an oxidative atmosphere.

摘要: A monolithic capacitor having a dielectric ceramic body cosintered with at least two base metal electrodes. The second ingredient is a mixture of boric oxide or lithium oxide, silicon dioxide and at least one metal oxide selected from among barium oxide, strontium oxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide and zinc oxide. For the fabrication of capacitors the mixture of the above major ingredient and additives in finely divided form are formed into moldings of desired shape and size, each with at least two electrodes buried therein. The moldings and electrodes are cosintered in a reductive or neutral atmosphere at temperatures of less than 1200 degrees C. and then are reheated at a lower temperature in an oxidative atmosphere.

摘要: A miniaturized ceramic capacitor having excellent electric characteristics and substantial capacity can be obtained by firing under a non-oxidative atmosphere at a temperature of up to 1200.degree. C. A dielectric layer of this ceramic capacitor consists of a basic component of 100 parts by weight and an additional component of 0.2 to 5 parts by weight. The basic component consists essentially of a material represented by the following formula:{(Ba.sub.1-w-x Ca.sub.w Mg.sub.x)O}k(Ti.sub.1-y-z Zr.sub.y R.sub.z)O.sub.2-z/2The additional component consists essentially of Li.sub.2 O--SiO.sub.2 --MO, B.sub.2 O.sub.3 --SiO.sub.2 --MO or B.sub.2 O.sub.3 --SiO.sub.2 --Li.sub.2 O.
