    摘要： A color filter ink set is adapted to be used to manufacture a color filter by an inkjet method. The color filter ink set includes a plurality of inks with each of the inks including a colorant and a liquid medium that disperses and/or dissolves the colorant. The inks include a green ink having C. I. Pigment Green 58 and a substance represented by a prescribed chemical formula. A viscosity at 25° C. of the liquid medium of the green ink is lower than a viscosity at 25° C. of the liquid medium of the ink other than the green ink. A difference (ηmax−ηmin) between a viscosity (ηmax (mPa·s)) of the ink having the highest viscosity among the inks at 25° C. and a viscosity (ηmin (mPa·s)) of the ink having the lowest viscosity among the inks at 25° C. is 1.0 mPa·s or less.

    摘要： A color filter ink used for color filter production using an inkjet method includes a colorant and a liquid medium for dissolving and/or dispersing the colorant therein. When a product containing a cured epoxy adhesive is left undisturbed and sealed in the liquid medium for 6 days at an environmental temperature of 70° C. and under atmospheric pressure, the epoxy adhesive has a swelling ratio of 35% or less. Further, when a product containing a cured urethane adhesive is left undisturbed and sealed in the liquid medium for 6 days at an environmental temperature of 70° C. and under atmospheric pressure, the urethane adhesive has a swelling ratio of 160% or less.

The color filter ink includes a colorant, a liquid medium that dissolves and/or disperses the colorant, and a resin material. The liquid medium has a characteristic in which, when a cured epoxy-based adhesive material and a urethane-based adhesive material are left in the liquid medium for six days under a sealed condition at an atmospheric pressure and a temperature of approximately 70° C., a swelling ratio of the cured epoxy-based adhesive material is 35% or less, and a swelling ratio of the cured urethane-based adhesive material is 160% or less. The resin material includes a polymer having monomer components represented by prescribed chemical formulas.

The liquid medium has a characteristic in which, when a cured epoxy-based adhesive material is put into the liquid medium under a sealed condition at an atmospheric pressure and a temperature of approximately 40° C. and left for ten days, a swelling ratio of the cured epoxy-based adhesive material is 30% or lower.

    摘要： An ink for use in manufacturing a color filter by an ink-jet together with other inks, the ink having a predetermined color which is different from colors of the other inks. The ink comprises a coloring agent which has a color corresponding to the predetermined color of the ink, and a liquid medium in which the coloring agent is dissolved and/or dispersed, the liquid medium comprised of a component A and a component B, wherein a boiling point of the component B is higher than a boiling point of the component A, and a viscosity of the component B at a temperature of 25° C. is higher than a viscosity of the component A at a temperature of 25° C. The ink can be used for manufacturing the color filter which has no uneven color or no uneven density. Further, the ink can also be used for manufacturing the color filter which has excellent uniformity of characteristics among the manufactured color filters. A color filter which has no uneven color or no uneven density and has excellent uniformity of characteristics among the manufactured color filters is also provided. A method of manufacturing such a color filter is also provided. An image display apparatus that can suitably use such a color filter is also provided. An electronic apparatus that can suitably use such an image display apparatus is also provided.
