摘要: A cell or tissue-culturing carrier which can effectively regenerate an intended a cell or tissue, while suppressing an excessive growth of fibroblasts, and a method of culturing a cell or tissue by using the above carrier, the cell or tissue-culturing carrier wherein fibroblasts showing substantially no growing property in a gel based on the hydrogel-forming polymer, is constituted by using a hydrogel-forming polymer; an aqueous solution of which shows a thermo-reversible sol-gel transition such that it assumes a sol state at a lower temperature and assumes a gel state at a higher temperature.

摘要: A culture method for allowing only cancer cells to grow from a cancerous organ or tissue sample removed surgically or endoscopically, forming a spheroid of cancer cells having a tissue structure and different cell stages similar to a tissue structure and cell stages in the living body, and removing the cultured spheroid of cancer cells from the matrix by changing the temperature within the physiological temperature range.

摘要: A wound-covering material is provided which includes at least a polymer having a sol-gel transition temperature in an aqueous solution, shows a substantial water-insolubility at a temperature higher than the sol-gel transition temperature, and shows a reversible water-solubility at a temperature lower than the sol-gel transition temperature. Such a wound-covering material may closely be attached to a wound surface having a complex profile, since it may be placed on the wound surface in a liquid state. In addition, the wound-covering material may provide a wound-covering matter which may rapidly be converted into a gel state due to the temperature of the wound so as to be closely attached to the wound surface and is stably attached to the wound surface in close contact. The resultant covering matter is stable without being dissolved by exudate secreted from the wound surface and may prevent the secretion of the exudate until the completion of the wound surface healing so as to promote the process of wound healing.
