摘要： A method for constructing a hologram by use of a master hologram which includes a predetermined pattern of interference fringes formed thereon by optical interference of a plurality of constructing coherent light beams incident at different angles. The method includes preparing a photosensitive medium, in which the hologram is to be formed, on the master hologram, and copying the master hologram onto the photo-sensitive medium by impinging copying light beams onto the master hologram at an incident angle different from the angles of the constructing beams.

摘要： A hologram scanner includes a laser source, a rotary body having a rotational axis at least one hologram facet arranged on the rotary body for diffracting a laser beam from the laser source to scan an object and receive the scattered light from the object for detection thereof, a motor means for driving the rotary body, and an optical detector for detecting the scattered light received and diffracted by the hologram facet. The hologram facet is inclined with respect to the rotational axis of the rotary body.

摘要： Light-beam scanning apparatus mainly used for a bar-code reader in a point-of-sale system to identify sold articles. The apparatus includes a light-beam emitting device, a hologram disk having a plurality of hologram segments with different diffraction characteristics mounted along its circumference and being rotated at a predetermined speed, and a deflecting device for directing the emitted light beam from the light-beam emitting device to one side of the hologram disk in a first direction. The scanning apparatus has a first mirror group including a plurality of mirrors placed in a second direction corresponding to the other side of the hologram disk, each of which mirrors is arranged to receive a diffracted light beam from a corresponding hologram segment, and a second mirror group including a plurality of mirrors, each of which mirrors is placed to receive a light beam reflected by a corresponding mirror of the first mirror group and to reflect the incident light beam to a predetermined space positioned in the first direction where an article attached with a bar-code label is moved. In the apparatus, a light path from the other side of the hologram disk to the predetermined space has a predetermined length to form a predetermined scanning light pattern in the space.

摘要： An optical scanner suitable for use with a bar code reader includes a light source for generating a laser beam, a laser beam scanning device, a scanning pattern generating optical system, and a signal light condensing optical system for deflecting scattered signal light scattered by an object to be read to introduce the light to a photo-detector. The scanning pattern generating optical system or signal light condensing optical system includes two reflective holograms disposed substantially in parallel with each other to produce a reflection beam having an angle of reflection which is different from an angle of incidence of the laser beam thereon. The scanner is a miniaturized apparatus as a result of the reflection holograms.

摘要： An optical scanner suitable for use with a bar code reader includes a light source for generating a laser beam, a laser beam scanning device, a scanning pattern generating optical system, and a signal light condensing optical system for deflecting scattered signal light scattered by an object to be read to introduce the light to a photo-detector. The scanning pattern generating optical system or signal light condensing optical system includes strips of planar reflective holograms disposed substantially in parallel with each other in one plane to produce a reflection beam having an angle of reflection which is different from an angle of incidence of the laser beam thereon. Another embodiment discloses a condenser integrated with one of plane mirrors for deflecting the scan beam to form a hologram module of the reflection type. The scanner is a miniaturized apparatus as a result of the reflection holograms.
