摘要： An image forming method including forming an electrostatic latent image on a photoreceptor; developing the latent image with a developer including a toner using a center-feed developing device to form a toner image; transferring the toner image onto a receiving material; and fixing the toner image using a fixing member coated with silicone oil. The toner includes at least a binder resin; a colorant; and a quaternary ammonium salt having a specific formula, wherein when the toner is dispersed in ethanol using ultrasonic waves, the dispersion has a turbidity of from 0.4 to 1.0 when the turbidity is determined using a haze meter. An image forming apparatus including a photoreceptor; a center-feed developing device using a developer including the toner; a transferring device; a fixing device using a fixing member coated with silicone oil; and a cleaner for the photoreceptor.

摘要： The present invention provides a toner which contains at least a binder resin, and a colorant, wherein the binder resin contains a polyester resin (A) obtained by polycondensation of an alcohol component with a carboxylic acid component containing one of a purified rosin and a modified rosin, and a polyester resin (B) obtained by polycondensation of a carboxylic acid with an alcohol component containing a specific alkylene oxide adduct of bisphenol A, and wherein when the carboxylic acid component containing a purified rosin is used in the carboxylic acid component for the polyester resin (A), a mass ratio [(B)/(A)] of the polyester resin (B) to the polyester resin (A) is 2/8 to 6/4.

摘要： To provide a toner containing at least a toner base containing a binder resin and a colorant, and an inorganic fine particle, wherein the inorganic fine particle contains a compound oxide expressed by the following Composition Formula (1): [M1]aSibOc  Composition Formula (1) where “M1” represents a metal element selected from Sr, Mg, Zn, Co, Mn and Ce, “a” and “b” each represents an integer of 1 to 9 and “c” represents an integer of 3 to 9, wherein an average primary particle diameter of the compound oxide is 0.02 μm to 1.5 μm, and an average secondary particle diameter of the compound oxide is 0.08 μm to 3.5 μm, where the secondary particle is an aggregate of the primary particles.

摘要： A toner including toner particles including a binder resin, a colorant and a release agent, and an external additive including a first particulate inorganic material having a formula of MgxSiyOx+2y where each of x and y is an integer, and a number average secondary particle diameter of from 0.02 μm to 2 μm, wherein the first atomic ratio (Mg/Si) s in a surface portion of the first particulate inorganic material is not greater than (preferably less than) the second atomic ratio (Mg/Si)e in the entire first particulate inorganic material. Alternatively, a toner including toner particles including a binder resin and a colorant, and an external additive which includes a particulate inorganic material having a formula of MgxSiyOx+2y where each of x and y is an integer and which has a surface treated with a fatty acid.

摘要： A toner is provided including a colorant; a resin composition (A) comprising at least one binder resin and a hydrocarbon wax having a melting point of 70-90° C. in an amount of from 6 to 30% by weight based on total weight of resin composition (A), and having a softening point (T1/2(A)) of from 120 to 150° C.; and a resin composition (B) having a softening point (T1/2 (B)) of from 100 to 130° C., wherein a weight ratio of the resin composition (A) to the resin composition (B) is from 10/90 to 45/55, and the following relationship is satisfied: T1/2(A)≧T1/2(B)+3; and the use of the toner in an image forming method, an image forming apparatus, and a process cartridge.

摘要： The present invention relates to a mono-component developing device, which develops an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrostatic latent image-supporting member with a toner having a weight-average particle size of from 4 to 10 &mgr;m, a compression rate of not more than 32% and an angle of repose of not more than 38°, and a toner used for the mono-component developing device. Even in the case when a comparatively great stress is imposed on the toner particles, the toner of the present invention maintains superior fluidity and makes it possible to provide a high-quality image.
