摘要： A metal plate for electromagnetic heating is disclosed which includes a substrate comprising aluminum or aluminum alloys, an intermediate layer formed on at least a portion of one surface of the substrate and comprising zinc or zinc alloys and a conductive layer formed on the intermediate layer for serving as a heat generating body when eddy current induced by high-frequency magnetic flux flows therethrough. Methods of manufacturing a metal plate for electromagnetic heating and a metallic mold for electromagnetic heating are also disclosed.

摘要： The invention provides an elastic roller for use in an apparatus for fixing a toner image, electrostatically formed on copy paper by passing the toner image between two rollers, comprising a roller core, a fusible fluororesin layer coated on the outside of the roller core, a porous fluororesin having porous portions affixed to the roller core through the fusible fluororesin layer, and a rubber impregnated into the porous portions of the porous fluororesin. It also provides a method for making an elastic roller including the steps of fusing a fusible fluororesin layer on the outside of a roller core or base; affixing a porous fluororesin having porous portions to the roller core through the fused fluororesin layer; filling the porous portions of the porous fluororesin with a rubber after fusing the porous fluororesin to the roller core; and hardening the rubber.

摘要： A toner sealing material for use in a toner cartridge of an electrophotographic image formation apparatus is disclosed. The toner sealing material comprises an elastic layer which is in contact with the cartridge via an adhesive layer and a tetrafluoroethylene resin porous layer having a thickness of at least 0.2 mm which is laminated on the elastic layer via an adhesive layer and is in contact with a developing roller fixed to the cartridge. With the sealing material, a toner can be prevented from leaking from a toner cartridge for an extended period of time.
