Further, an auxiliary layer is provided in contact with the inner cover. The auxiliary layer has a color different from those of the inner and outer covers and has an end surface which is exposed to the outside on the surface of the golf ball within the mark portion. Either the inner cover or the auxiliary layer completely covers the core.
