摘要: In a method for joining a plurality of heat exchanger flat tubes with headers of a heat exchanger: each of the opposite end portions of the flat tubes has a cross section provided with a major axis and a minor axis; opposite major axis side walls of the cross section of each of opposite end portions of each of the flat tubes are obliquely cut off so as to form each of opposite minor axis side walls of the cross section of the end portion of the flat tube into a trapezoidal shape; the end portion of the flat tube is passed through an elliptical hole formed in the header; the end portion of the flat tubes thus passed through the header is flared over its entire peripheral wall; the thus flared end portion of the flat tube is then bent so as to be formed into a bent portion of the flat tube, which bent portion constitutes an essential part of a joint formed between the flat tube and the header; and the thus formed joint is dipped into a molten filler metal bath to form brazed or soldered portions around the joint.

摘要: A stator core which assures a favorable workability for coupling core segments and has favorable magnetic characteristics even when made by coupling core segments that are formed by laminating core division sheets. A method of manufacturing a core for rotary electric machines includes forming a coupling convexity having an arc-like planar shape and a coupling concavity engageable with the coupling convexity on core segments, forming a serial core segment assembly by engaging the coupling convexity on one of the core segments with the coupling concavity formed on an adjacent core segment so as to be rotatable by more than 180 degrees, and forming a magnetic circuit by bending the serial core segment assembly into an annular form.

摘要: A collision energy absorbing structure of a vehicle body upper portion of an automobile having a roofside rail (20) extending in the forward and backward direction and formed to be a closed structure with an outer panel (30) and an inner panel (32) includes a metal energy absorbing panel (22) and a resin interior trim material (24). The energy absorbing panel (22) has a thickness smaller than the thicknesses of the outer panel (30) and the inner panel (32) and is arranged with a space (D) inward of the inner panel. The terminal portion in the longitudinal direction of the energy absorbing panel (22) has a tendency that energy absorption reduces but the tendency is compensated by resin material (26, 28).

摘要: The present invention has an object to provide a stator core which assures a favorable workability for coupling core segments and has a favorable magnetic characteristic even when the stator core is composed by coupling core segments which are composed by laminating core division sheets. The manufacturing method of a core for rotary electric machines and a core according to the present invention are configured to form a coupling convexity having an arc-like planar shape and a coupling concavity engageable with the coupling convexity on core segments, compose a serial core segment assembly by engaging the coupling convexity on one of adjacent core segments with the coupling concavity formed on the other core segment so as to be rotatable over 180 degrees, and form a magnetic circuit by bending the serial core segment into an annular form.
