Abstract: Series data in a table form and which includes a plurality of records each having a value of a response variable, response variable series identification information, a value of an explanatory variable, and explanatory variable series identification information identifying series of the explanatory variable associated with one another is stored. An analytical record that is any of the records and that contains the value of the response variable or the value of the explanatory variable possibly influencing the response variable at a time of analyzing the response variable is identified; and an additional record having the value of the response variable or the value of the explanatory variable in the identified analytical record associated with the value of the response variable in a predetermined record that is any of the records is generated, and analytical series data obtained by adding the generated additional record to the series data is generated.

Abstract: It is provided a spatio-temporal data management system for managing time series data associated with a spatio-temporal region, comprising: a processor for executing a program; a memory for storing the program; and a storage device for storing the time series data. The processor segments the spatio-temporal region in time and space to generate a plurality of spatio-temporal segments, assigns, in consideration of temporal and spatial proximity of the plurality of spatio-temporal segments, identifiers for uniquely identifying the plurality of spatio-temporal segments, each of the identifiers being expressed with a one-dimensional integer value; and determines an arrangement of the time series data so that pieces of data of spatio-temporal segments that are close in the assigned identifiers are arranged close on the storage device.

Abstract: A process of the invention analyzes a moving speed using acceleration data by an acceleration sensor and calculates a moving distance of the object. The process removes each of given candidate values of drift components from angular velocity data by a gyro sensor and generates relative azimuths data pieces. Based on the respective relative azimuths data pieces, the process calculates moving directions of the object. Using the moving distance and moving directions calculated, the process creates plural moving loci corresponding to the candidate values of drift components. By comparing the positions of actual starting and end points of moving in a building with the positions of starting and end points of each moving locus, the process evaluates the moving loci and determines an optimal moving locus out of the moving loci, based on the evaluation result.

Abstract: A confined space estimation system, and a confined space estimation method capable of accurately confirming a confined space formed in the event of a disaster, estimates a confined space comprising a storage device which stores information indicating a geographical space, and a processor which divides the geographical space into grids. Based on location information sent from a terminal, the processor periodically aggregates a number of terminals within the grids or a number of terminals that passed through boundaries between the grids, extracts grids or boundaries in which the aggregated number of terminals is a predetermined number and in which there is no change in the aggregated number of terminals, determines whether the extracted grids or boundaries can be linked to form an annular shape, and, if the annular shape can be formed, estimates a geographical space configured from the grids within the formed annular shape as the confined space.
