Abstract:
Provided is a communication system which connects a unified C/U router to a network having C/U separation, wherein the stopping of U-plane communication of the unified C/U router is prevented even when the messages transmitted from a C-plane controller of the network having C/U separation do not arrive because of faults in the network having C/U separation. The routing information of a C-plane message (routing protocol) received by a U-plane controller is sent to an adjacent peer without being reflected in a routing table of the U-plane controller. The routing table of the U-plane controller is generated on the basis of the routing information (FIB information) received directly from the C-plane controller. In addition, a keep-alive packet from the unified C/U router is not sent to the C-plane controller and keeps alive the connection with the user router at the transmission destination.

There is provided a load distribution function that enables an application of a user to be freely allocated to a machine even if an address of a terminal or the application used by the user is duplicated between VPNs for each user. An access detector of a machine allocation device detects a start packet from received communication packets, and determines the type of the start packet and the type of the application used by the terminal. A machine allocation manager determines a machine on which the determined application operates, and operates the machine. A network manager configures a user virtual network on a second virtual network between the determined machine and the machine allocation device.

A communication path switching device is configured to determine whether or not a specified network device where exclusion from a communication path or addition to the communication path is specified through an input device can perform path switching based on the individual pieces of information on a coupling configuration and a presence or absence of an independent control function; refer to a storage device for the individual pieces of information on the coupling configuration and a coupling policy to change the coupling policy according to a result of the determination; and processing of issuing, according to the result of the determination and the individual pieces of information in the storage device, a path switching instruction to a network device having the independent control function and a network device not having the independent control function that are path switching targets on a communication path directed to the specified network device.
