摘要: In an example, a node in a network includes four ports coupled to respective nodes via respective links. A first port and a third port are coupled to respective nodes via respective near links and a second port and a fourth port are coupled to respective nodes via respective skip links. The node further includes at least one processor configured to send a first message in a first direction via the second port, and the first message includes a first destination address that corresponds to the second side of the node. The at least one processor is further configured to send a second message in a second direction via the fourth port, and the second message includes a second destination address that corresponds to the first side of the node.

摘要: Tightly-coupled, loosely connected distributed systems can be implemented more energy efficient and optimized for computational overhead via multi-protocol heterogeneous packet-based transport. When receiving a plurality of packets from a root complex where contents of each packet from the plurality of packets organized in accordance with a first protocol, a sequence number is added to each packet and a packet type is identified. Every packet in the first plurality of packets is encapsulated into at least one packet organized in accordance with a second protocol to form a second plurality of packets organized in accordance with the second protocol. All the packets from the second plurality of packets can be handled via Direct Memory Access. A write-only communication scheme can be implemented using doorbell and command registers for more efficient data reading and writing in distributed systems.

摘要: This application provide a retransmission control method, a communications interface, and an electronic device. When a transmit end transmits a first data packet to a receive end and does not receive an acknowledgement corresponding to the first data packet within a first RTO, the transmit end retransmits a second data packet based on a second RTO. The second data packet is a data packet transmitted by the transmit end after the transmit end transmits the first data packet. The second RTO is related to a receive timestamp of the acknowledgement corresponding to the first data packet and a transmit timestamp of the first data packet.

摘要: In one embodiment, a computer-implemented method includes: receiving a request to establish a Peer-to-Peer Remote Copy (PPRC) relationship between a primary storage system and a secondary storage system; and copying one or more data tracks of a primary storage device in the primary storage system to the secondary storage system without copying at least one other data track of the primary storage device to the secondary storage system. The one or more data tracks of the primary storage device comprise one or more data tracks of a first characteristic. Other portions of the primary storage device comprise one or more other data tracks of a second characteristic. Tracks of the first characteristic may include valid data records, while tracks of the second characteristic may include invalid data records and/or empty tracks. Corresponding systems and computer program products are also disclosed.
