Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for implementing a publish and subscribe communication system utilizing a load balancer and task schedulers are provided. Subscription requests are received from subscribers for subscribing to a topic published by a publisher. An external subscription list is maintained to track communication address information of the subscribers. A number of task schedulers are created based upon a count of subscribers within the external subscription list. The subscribers are assigned to the task schedulers such that a number of subscribers assigned to a task scheduler is limited according to a subscriber assignment limit. In response to the publisher creating data to publish to the topic, the task schedulers are controlled to use the communication address information to directly transfer data of the topic to the subscribers assigned to the task schedulers.

Abstract: In accordance with an embodiment, described herein is a system and method for connection concentration in a database environment. A transparency engine provided between client applications and a database can include a connection pool (e.g., UCP connection pool). The transparency engine can operate as a proxy engine for the database and as a session abstraction layer for the client applications, to enable the client applications to utilize features provided by the connection pool without code changes. The transparency engine can receive application connections from the client applications, and concentrate the application connections on a smaller number of database connections maintained in the connection pool.

Abstract: A computerized method of managing a computer remote session operation, comprising providing a server for hosting application execution; configuring a number of predefined user accounts with low security permissions on said server, where said user accounts are not tied to any specific real user; Whenever a remote user requests to start a remote session, finding an available user account not currently in use on said computer, allocating it for the remote session and marking it as unavailable for subsequent session requests; Generating a one-time password for said user account; Communicating the assigned user account identifier and temporary password to client component on the user's side, either directly or through an intermediate broker; causing the client component to connect to the server using said user account identifier and temporary password; and, upon termination of the remote session, deleting the assigned user account's data and marking it as available again.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to the communication between server systems located in different network regions. For example, in some embodiments, a first server system located in a first network region may receive a request to perform a first operation for a user, where the request includes an alias value for the user. The first server system may determine, based on the alias value, that the user is not associated with the first network region. In response, the first server system may access an alias map that specifies encoded versions of alias values that are in use across multiple different network regions and, using the alias map, determine that the user is associated with a second network region. The first server system may then route a communication corresponding to the request to a second server system that is located in the second network region.

At a gateway router deployed to a public cloud, the method receives from at least two routers at least two sites, multiple data streams destined for a particular centralized datacenter. The method performs a WAN optimization operation to aggregate the multiple streams into one outbound stream that is WAN optimized for forwarding to the particular centralized datacenter. The method then forwards the WAN-optimized data stream to the particular centralized datacenter.

Abstract: A middleware system and a service request result returning method are provided. The middleware system communicates with a service request end and a plurality of servers. A processor receives a plurality of service requests sent by the service request end, and writes the service requests into a service request queue. The service agent unit outputs the service requests to the servers according to the service request queue. The servers respond with a plurality of service request results to the service agent unit. The time agent unit detects the time when the processor receives the service requests, so as to write a plurality of service request end messages and a plurality of service request times of the service requests into a service request time queue. The message distributor builds a message distribution table, and outputs the service request results to the service request end according to the message distribution table.

Abstract: Methods are provided in which a computing device obtains telemetry data associated with a network technology used in an enterprise network and an enterprise network profile that includes information about the complexity of the enterprise network. The network technology is deployed at one or more devices of the enterprise network. The methods further include the computing device determining, based on the telemetry data, for each deployment of the network technology, a current stage from a plurality of stages of an adoption lifecycle to which the network technology progressed, determining a time estimate for completing the current stage of the adoption lifecycle, based on the enterprise network profile and an adoption benchmark generated from a plurality of activities performed for progressing along the adoption lifecycle, and evaluating an adoption of the network technology, using the time estimate, to progress the network technology along the lifecycle.

Abstract: A system and method for providing content for display form data sources on a client device are provided. The method includes receiving, by a distribution server, a report identifier associated with a report and a request for information, wherein the information is requested based on the report; determining by the distribution server at least a data source, the at least a data source storing at least a portion of the information; requesting access from the integration server to the at least a data source to retrieve the at least a portion of the information; and sending from the distribution server to the client device, the at least a portion of the information, wherein the at least a portion of information is utilized in the report. In an embodiment, the data sources are accessible by an integration server.
