摘要: A gas circuit breaker having a pair of contacts and a pair of exhaust conductors. An exhaust hole in the pair of exhaust conductors is provided with an insulation cover having an opening. The cover has a guide on an opening end on the side near the pair of contacts and an opening end on the side far from the pair of contacts respectively. The guide has an exhaust hole protective guide and a high-temperature gas passage dividing guide. A first gas flow passage is between an exhaust hole protective guide and a high-temperature gas passage dividing guide, and a second gas flow passage is between the high-temperature gas passage dividing guides. The first gas flow passage is narrower than the second gas flow passage. An end of the exhaust hole protective guide on the first gas flow passage side is projected toward the high-temperature gas passage dividing guide.

摘要: An insulation rod cover is fitted to an end portion of a puffer shaft and the insulation rod cover is fitted to a circuit-breaker side coupling pin coupling between a puffer shaft and an insulation rod, thereby allowing the insulation rod cover to be held at a joint between the puffer shaft and the insulation rod. In a first half of a circuit-breaking operation, the insulation rod cover is positioned in the exhaust cylinder and the exhaust of the hot gas from the puffer shaft is suppressed to increase the pressure of an extinguishing gas to be sprayed onto the arc. In a last half of the circuit-breaking operation, the insulation rod cover is positioned in a guard cylinder to promote the exhaust of the hot gas from the puffer shaft as well as to suppress the flow of the hot gas into the insulation cylinder.

A pair of arc contacts is arranged on the inner side of the main contacts, and a puffer cylinder has the main contacts and the arc contacts at an end. A puffer chamber is formed inside the puffer cylinder, and a puffer piston is provided on the inner periphery of the puffer cylinder. An insulating nozzle part is mounted on an end of the puffer cylinder to surround the arc contact. The insulating nozzle part includes a split nozzle base part and a split nozzle end part, and the split nozzle base part has a throat part.

摘要: Provided is a gas circuit breaker that can reduce control energy smaller than that in previous double motion systems and an excessive force applied to a moveable pin to achieve a highly reliable double motion system. A gas circuit breaker has a double motion mechanism unit including a driving-side connecting rod, a driven-side connecting rod, a lever to connect the rods, and a guide to define the motion of the driving-side and driven-side connecting rods. A moveable pin extends through a first grooved cam of the driving-side conencting rod, a second grooved cam of the guide, and a third grooved cam of the lever. The driving-side connecting rod operates to move the moveable pin inside the grooved cams. Thus, the lever is rotated, the driven-side connecting rod is driven opposite to the driving-side connecting rod, and the driven-side arcing contact is driven opposite to the driving-side arcing contact.

摘要: A gas circuit breaker includes a sealed tank, a movable side main electrode and a fixed side main electrode in the sealed tank facing each other, a movable side arc electrode and a fixed side arc electrode in the sealed tank facing each other, a cylinder at a circumference of the movable side arc electrode, a piston in the cylinder in a slidable manner and forming a puffer chamber together with the cylinder, an insulation nozzle in the sealed tank, an exhaust pipe at a circumference of the fixed side arc electrode and exhausting heat gas, which is sprayed on an arc generated in the insulation nozzle in the opening electrode operation, to an outside, and a closing plate in the exhaust pipe. One or more vent holes leading the heat gas from an inside of the exhaust pipe to the outside is on a surface of the closing plate.

A puffer cylinder 104 has a cylindrical member 104a at a breaker side end, an end of the insulating nozzle 101 is provided in the cylindrical member 104a. And the gas circuit breaker is configured by further comprising a hollow moving side main contact 102 at a breaker side end of the cylindrical member 104a, a pressing metal fitting 103 to engage an insulating nozzle 101 in the hollow part of the moving side main contact 102.
