摘要: It is provided a computer system, comprising a server and first and second storage systems. The first storage system stores deduplicated data sharing at least a part of data with other data, shared data shared by a plurality of pieces of the deduplicated data, and first type data representing a type of the stored data including the deduplicated data and the shared data. The deduplicated data is associated with the shared data by a pointer to the shared data, and includes differential data indicating a difference from the shared data. The server creates second type data representing a type of the data stored in the second storage system from the first type data. The second storage system stores the shared data associated with the deduplicate data at a reading position before a position at which the deduplicated data is read in sequential reading and stores the second type data.

摘要: A file server is coupled to a plurality of user terminals and a remote file server. The file server, stores, in a storage device, data of files received from the plurality of user terminals, replicates the files to the remote file server, stubs the files stored in storage, and, upon receiving an access request from the user terminal, reads out data of the file from storage and transmits the data to the user terminal if a file related to the access request is not stubbed. If a file related to the access request is stubbed, the file server recalls data of the file from the remote file server and transmits data of the file to the user terminal. The file server replicates, to the remote file server, data of a user who performs a session disconnection request to the file server within a certain time in preference to another user.

摘要: In a multi-storage node system including a plurality of storage nodes, a plurality of storage nodes include a plurality of drives that store data and a control unit that controls writing of data to the drives. The control unit divides storage areas of the plurality of drives into a plurality of physical chunks, allocates the divided physical chunks to logical chunks, and stores data. A plurality of storage nodes are divided into fault sets affected by a single failure and manage the multi-storage node system. The control unit of one primary node that manages the multi-storage node system among a plurality of storage nodes includes a database for managing allocation of the physical chunks of a plurality of storage nodes to the logical chunks for each drive, each storage node, or for each fault set.
