    Abstract: The present invention suppresses wear of a rod or a component with which the rod is in contact. An electromagnetic suction valve mechanism (electromagnetic valve mechanism) includes a suction valve (valve body), a rod engaged with the suction valve, and a magnetic attraction force generation unit that generates a magnetic attraction force for moving the rod in an axial direction. The rod is provided with a low friction portion. The low friction portion is set to a friction coefficient such that a frictional force generated between the rod and the rod contact component with which the rod is in contact is smaller than a rotational propulsive force of the rod.

    Abstract: Provided is a discharge valve mechanism capable of improving responsiveness when a discharge valve is opened, and a high-pressure fuel supply pump including the discharge valve mechanism.
    A discharge valve mechanism 500 includes a valve seat portion 51 having a primary-side flow path, a valve body 52 which can be seated on and separated from the valve seat portion 51, and a guide portion 542a which is formed to be slidable on an outer surface of the valve body 52 and guides movement of the valve body 52 in a contacting/separating direction with respect to the valve seat portion 51. The guide portion 542a includes a portion in which a gap from the outer surface of the valve body 52 is set to a predetermined value or less. A first secondary-side flow path 545 which allows an internal space 541a on an upstream side of the guide portion 542a to communicate with an external flow path 2g is formed to allow the fluid to flow out to a side in a moving direction of the valve body 52, and a second secondary-side flow path 546 which allows an internal space 543a on a downstream side of the guide portion 542a to communicate with the external flow path 2g is formed to allow the fluid to flow out to the side in the moving direction of the valve body 52.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to secure a gap between a component on a suction valve side and a component on an anchor side when a valve is closed, regardless of an integration tolerance of a plurality of components, and to be able to reliably close the valve. In an electromagnetic valve mechanism 300 including an anchor assembly 36 and a magnetic core 33 between which a magnetic attraction force acts, and a suction valve 30 configured to be able to come into and out of contact with the anchor assembly 36, the anchor assembly 36 includes a first anchor assembly component 36a having a facing surface 36ab that faces the magnetic core 33, a second anchor assembly component 36b configured integrally with the first anchor assembly component 36a, and a press-fitting portion 36c that fixes the first anchor assembly component 36a and the second anchor assembly component 36b. A press-fitting length L1 of the press-fitting portion 36c is set to a length at which the second anchor assembly component 36b and the suction valve 30 are separated from each other in a state where the suction valve 30 is closed.

    Abstract: Provided is a fuel supply pump capable of improving welding quality while securing a function of a valve body. A fuel supply pump of the present invention includes a regulating member (discharge valve stopper 84) that guides movement of a valve body (discharge valve 82), a main body portion (body 1) provided with a valve chamber (discharge valve chamber 1d) that houses the regulating member, a sealing member (plug 85) that seals the valve chamber, and a welded portion (welded portion 86) that fixes the sealing member to the main body portion. An annular space portion (annular space portion 60) along an outer periphery of the regulating member is formed between the welded portion and the regulating member. The regulating member includes a positioning portion (fitting portion 84a) for positioning with respect to the main body portion on a side opposite to the sealing member, and a gap forming portion (gap forming portion 84c) forming an annular gap (annular gap 63) between the gap forming portion and the main body portion, and the annular gap allows a space on a side of the positioning portion in the valve chamber and the annular space portion to communicate with each other.

    Abstract: Provided is a fuel pump capable of improving productivity. According to the present invention, a fuel pump includes a pump body 1, a plunger 2, an electromagnetic suction valve 3, and a relief valve 4. The plunger 2 reciprocates in a first room 1a which is a columnar space portion provided in the pump body 1. The electromagnetic suction valve 3 causes fuel to be sucked into a pressurizing chamber 11 formed by the first room 1a and the plunger 2. When the fuel pressure on the downstream side of the pressurizing chamber 11 exceeds a set value, the relief valve 4 opens, and brings the fuel back to the pressurizing chamber 11. The pump body 1 includes a second room 1b in which the relief valve 4 is disposed, and a communication hole 1e for causing the first room 1a and the second room 1b to communicate with each other. The diameter of the communication hole 1e is equal to the diameter of the first room 1a.
