Abstract: A method for virtual reality simulation is provided. The method comprises: selecting a time during the travel path of the vehicle; determining a position of the vehicle at the selected time; building a bounding region proximate to the determined position; identifying data associated with one or more locations proximate to the bounding region; generating a graphical representation, representing virtual reality, of the bounding region using the data; and displaying the graphical representation representing virtual reality.
