Abstract: A method for adjusting a quantity of data streams, a terminal, and a MIMO system. In the method, the terminal may actively negotiate the quantity of transport layers used in a downlink data transmission process with a network device based on an operation status of the terminal, so as to adaptively and dynamically adjust the quantity of data streams in the downlink data transmission process. This may reduce power consumption of the terminal and prolong a standby time of the terminal without affecting user experience while meeting requirements for a data transmission rate of the terminal.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for determining a minimum slot offset value is provided. The method is as follows: The terminal device determines whether a preset condition is met. The preset condition includes at least one of the following cases: a preset application is opened, a related parameter of the terminal device changes, data packet sparsity changes, or a network environment parameter changes. The terminal device determines a minimum slot offset value in response to the preset condition being met. If the minimum slot offset value determined by the terminal device is different from a minimum slot offset value indicated by a cell on which the terminal device currently camps, the terminal device sends auxiliary information, where the auxiliary information includes the minimum slot offset value determined by the terminal device, and the minimum slot offset value is used for cross-slot scheduling.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a network connection processing method, an apparatus, and a wireless transceiver unit. The method is applied to a user equipment UE side and relates to the 5G NR and the field of artificial intelligence communications. The method includes: connecting UE to both a 4G base station and a 5G base station by using an LTE-NR dual connectivity technology; and when the UE is in a screen-off state and a data transmission rate of the UE is less than or equal to a preset rate, releasing a connection between the UE and the 5G base station.
