    摘要: A game played by two persons, namely a player and an opponent player. Each player has an equal plurality of playing pieces, and each player has alternate turns at manipulating a plurality of discrete identification elements bearing symbols, e.g. a pair of dice, and continuing his turn as long as the symbols can be used, either separately or in combination, to move his or his opponent's playing pieces on a playing board in correspondence to the symbols on the identification elements. The object of the game is to get all the playing pieces of the player or opponent player into certain positions on the playing board, and the multiple choice strategy entails a player moving his own playing pieces either towards the preestablished finish position or positions, or moving his opponent player's pieces back from a final position or positions. The multiple choice strategy evolves from the novel method of steps and alternate choice involved in the game. Structure for the game as an article of manufacture is also disclosed. The present game is a synergistic combination of concepts which combine both the elements of chance and judgment, with the element of chance arising from the random orientation, after manipulation, of the discrete identification means to register identifying symbols, e.g. the tossing or rolling of a pair of dice.

    摘要: Card dispenser for participating games involving an element of chance sequentially dispenses a stack of random cards placed into the device. The dispenser includes a hopper having a dispensing opening and a track divided by uniformly spaced upwardly directed transverse ribs into a series of adjacent co-planar card receiving surfaces. Elongate guide members on the track and mating channels on downwardly depending skirts on the hopper permit the hopper to move relatively to and along the track to bring the dispensing opening into registry with successive ones of the card receiving surfaces, the hopper advancing the lower-most cards in the stack until deposited on a surface while the transverse ribs prevent movement of the deposited cards in the direction of hopper movement and therefore retain the cards in the deposited positions thereof.

    摘要: A maze has two opposing substantially coextensive walls one of which forms an inner three-dimensional form or shell and the other which forms an outer form or shell. Each of the shells is generally in the form of a cube and the inner shell is fixedly positioned within the outer shell so as to maintain a predetermined, uniform distance between the inner and outer walls. The outer wall is formed with a network of channels which, together with the inner wall, define a corresponding network of passageways. The passageways on each side of the outer cube are connected to the passageways on the adjacent sides of the cube so as to form interconnected passageways which permit one or more marbles, for example, to move through the passageways on one or more sides of the cube with changes in orientation of the maze in space. Apertures are provided in at least one passageway on each side of the cube for providing points of entry and exit for the marbles into and out of the maze. By selective changes in orientation of the maze in space marbles within the maze can be made to move through the passageways without escaping through the apertures.

    摘要: A simulated bowling game wherein a reflected image of fixed illuminated ten pin shaped lamps is provided. A plurality of fixed illuminated bowling pin lamps are disposed in a ten pin pattern and are each normally illuminated to produce an image representative of a bowling pin. A semi-reflective surface is positioned at an incline with respect to a bowling alley, and is further positioned in facing relationship with respect to the plurality of illuminated bowling pin lamps so that the semi-reflective surface produces an image of each of the illuminated bowling pin lamps at the other end of the bowling alley. A plurality of contacts are positioned in a predetermined pattern at a rear end of the bowling alley and are adapted to produce contact signals when contacted by the bowling ball. Control circuitry is coupled intermediate the respective contacts and each of the illuminated bowling pin lamps to receive each of the contact signals produced by the contacts when a ball is rolled toward the rear end of the alley and in response thereto is adapted to selectively deenergize certain of said illuminated bowling pins and thereby prevent same from producing a reflected illuminated image.

    摘要: An optical illusion-producing rotating toy includes a rectangular support housing and a generally cylindrical rotatable housing mounted on the support housing for free rotation about a vertical axis. The rotatable housing has at least two three-dimensional display areas, chambers of compartments angularly disposed about the axis. An axis extension of the rotatable housing projects beyond the support housing for gripping to impart rotation of the rotatable housing. The rotatable housing is provided with a resilient pair of engageable fingers proximate the support housing, and a pair of selection latching members are provided on the support housing each of which has a portion which may be selectively moved for engaging one of the fingers to almost instantaneously stop the rotation of the rotatable housing in a predetermined position. This brings into view one of the display areas at a fixed point of observation. Observation of any one display area is made difficult until the rotatable housing is stopped and, depending on which latching member is actuated, an object in one display area may be made to disappear and reappear by successively bringing that display area and an empty display area into view. A case may be used to house the toy, with foldable panels which unfold to form a play area or environment of which the rotating toy forms a part. The housing rotation may be done by electrical motor means, and the stopping by electromagnetic means.

    摘要: A toy feeding spoon is provided for use with a baby doll having a head with a permanent magnet mounted therein adjacent the mouth portion thereof. The spoon includes a hollow bowl portion with a circular disc rotatably mounted therein and a top wall covering over and concealing a portion of said disc. A bar magnet is mounted on the under side of said disc and cooperates with the magnet in said doll head to turn said disc to a first selected position in which said spoon appears to be empty, when the spoon is brought to the doll mouth. The bar magnet on said disc also cooperates with a permanent magnet mounted within a simulated food container to turn said disc to a second selected position in which said spoon appears to be filled with food, when said spoon is lowered into the interior of said container.
