    Abstract: A wireless charging receiving apparatus of a mobile terminal. The wireless charging receiving apparatus is configured to be disposed inside the mobile terminal and close to a metal rear housing (3) of the mobile terminal, and includes two interconnected coils (701,702). The two coils (701,702) are located in a same plane and are connected in series, and winding directions of the two coils (701,702) are opposite, so that directions of magnetic fluxes generated by the two coils (701,702) on the metal rear housing (3) are opposite, thereby resolving a problem of an eddy current on the metal rear housing of the mobile terminal such as a smartphone including a wireless charging system, and reducing a temperature of a metal body and reducing an energy loss without forming a hole or a seam on the metal rear housing.

    Abstract: Described herein is a wireless charging system including a wireless power transmitter and a wireless power receiver, where the wireless power receiver is part of a wireless electronic device such as a mobile telephone. The wireless power receiver is used to charge a battery of the wireless electronic device and can include both a closed-loop DC-DC converter, such as a buck charger, and an open-loop DC-DC converter, such as a switched capacitor charger. In addition to an in-band communication channel between the power transmitter and the power receiver, the system also includes an out-of-band communication channel through which the power transmitter and the power receiver can exchange control signals, helping to avoid interference that can occur in the in-band communication channel when using the open-loop DC-DC converter.

    Abstract: A method includes performing a power loss calibration on a wireless power transfer system, enabling a wireless power transfer on the wireless power transfer system, calculating a power loss of the wireless power transfer system based on the power loss calibration, measuring a coupling factor between a transmitter coil and a receiver coil of the wireless power transfer system, and determining whether to continue the wireless power transfer of the wireless power transfer system based on the calculated power loss and the measured coupling factor.
