Abstract: This application discloses a channel estimation method and apparatus. When time-domain channel estimation is performed on a first slot, the first slot and at least one second slot are first determined. The first slot and each second slot form continuous slots. Then, a first signal corresponding to the first slot and a second signal corresponding to each second slot are obtained, and a time-domain channel estimate for the first slot is determined based on the first signal and each second signal. In embodiments of this application, when a time-domain channel estimate for a specific slot is determined, time-domain channel estimation is performed by using time-domain correlation of channels in combination with signals of a plurality of slots, so as to obtain a more accurate channel estimation result, thereby improving baseband demodulation performance.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a user pairing method and a related device. The method includes: first, determining a first generation parameter of a first base sequence of a first user and a second generation parameter of a second base sequence of a second user, and the second base sequence is used to generate a second uplink reference signal of the second user; then, determining multiplexing evaluation information based on the first generation parameter and the second generation parameter, where the multiplexing evaluation information may include correlation strength between sequences and interference leakage width; afterwards, determining, based on the multiplexing evaluation information, whether the first user and the second user are successfully paired. Finally, when the first user and the second user are successfully paired, it is determined that the first user and the second user multiplex a same communication resource for communication.

Abstract: A random access method includes: selecting from a specified number of access sequences used by a cell any one access sequence as a first access sequence; mapping the first access sequence onto a bandwidth according to a preset subcarrier spacing to generate a first random access signal, the subcarrier spacing is less than 1.25 kHz; sending the random access signal to a base station; receiving a timing advance adjustment command; adjusting a timing advance, and sending a first message to the base station according to the adjusted timing advance so that the base station demodulates the first message and enables the terminal to access a physical random access channel. This method allows a terminal at a very long distance to access a physical random access channel.
