    Abstract: The present embodiments provide an analog to digital converter, including a beam splitter, M photodetectors, M amplifier modules, and an encoder. Each output end of the beam splitter is corresponding to an input end of a photodetector, an output end of each photodetector is connected to an input end of an amplifier module, and an output end of each amplifier module is connected to an input end of the encoder. The beam splitter splits an inputted analog optical signal into M optical signals, outputs each optical signal to a corresponding photodetector to convert each optical signal into a current signal, inputs each current signal to a corresponding amplifier module to generate an output voltage, and outputs the output voltage to a corresponding input end of the encoder.

    Abstract: This application provides an optical emission apparatus, an optical communication system, and an optical communication method. Light beams of N optical emission units in the optical emission apparatus are adjusted, so that an optical power of entering an optical receiving apparatus is maximized, and impact of a speckle caused by turbulence is minimized, thereby improving receiving efficiency of an optical antenna. The optical emission apparatus includes a first optical splitter and N optical emission units, where N is an integer greater than 1; the first optical splitter is configured to transmit received same signal light to the N optical emission units; and the N optical emission units are configured to output the signal light from the first optical splitter, to obtain light beams distributed based on a preset proportion.

    Abstract: This application discloses a method and an apparatus for controlling an optical switch matrix. The method includes: setting row drives corresponding to P input ports to a reset row drive value, and setting column drives corresponding to Q output ports to a reset column drive value, so that optical switches at intersections are in a first state; successively setting, based on time, a row drive corresponding to an ith input port to values in a switching row drive sequence, and successively setting, based on time, a column drive corresponding to a jth output port to values in a switching column drive sequence, so that a target optical switch in the P×Q optical switches remains in the first state, and the other optical switches are switched from the first state to a second state in first time periods.

    Abstract: An electrical switching cluster system includes a plurality of input nodes, a plurality of intermediate nodes, and a plurality of output nodes. Each of the input nodes performs electrical switching on electrical signals to obtain a plurality of groups of first electrical signals, and converts one group of first electrical signals into a multi-wavelength first optical signal. Each of the intermediate nodes demultiplexes a plurality of first optical signals to obtain a plurality of groups of second optical signals, and multiplexes optical signals of different wavelengths in the plurality of groups of second optical signals to obtain a plurality of multi-wavelength third optical signals.     Abstract: An optical switch chip, an optical switch driving module, and an optical switch driving method are disclosed. The optical switch driving module includes an optical switch chip, and the optical switch chip includes multiple optical switch units. The optical switch units are divided into N groups, where N>=1. Each group of optical switch units shares a pair of electrodes, each pair of electrodes is configured to connect to a multi-frequency driving signal source, and each optical switch unit connects to the multi-frequency driving signal source by using the band-pass filter. Pass bands of M band-pass filters that are connected to M optical switch units in a same group are different, where M>=2. The multi-frequency driving signal source outputs multiple driving signals of different frequencies that are respectively corresponding to the M band-pass filters, so as to drive the optical switch unit.
