Abstract: Example communications methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes generating a first signal by a base station. The base station performs cyclic delay diversity (CDD) weighted processing on the first signal to obtain a second signal, and performs densified beam weighted processing on the second signal to obtain a third signal. The third signal is sent by the base station via an antenna. According to the foregoing method, the CDD weighted processing is performed on the first signal generated by the base station, so that time diversity can be obtained when the first signal is transmitted. In addition, the densified beam weighted processing is performed on the second signal obtained after the CDD weighted processing, so that a quantity of beams scanned by the base station can be increased.

Abstract: A method, device and system for regulating power consumption are provided in the embodiments of the present invention. A method for regulating power consumption includes: obtaining, by a base station, an application point and a configuration parameter; sending, by the base station, an indication message to a terminal according to the application point and configuration parameter; regulating, by the base station, the power consumption of the base station by using the configuration parameter at the application point; the configuration parameter comprises cell antenna information or system bandwidth information; the indication message instructs the terminal to use the configuration parameter at the application point. Under the condition that user's normal communication is remained, the number of cell antennas or the cell bandwidth is dynamically changed. This reduces the power consumption of the network device.

Abstract: A data processing apparatus includes a scrambling processing unit and a sending unit. The scrambling processing unit is configured to generate a Pseudo-Random Binary Sequence (PRBS), perform a modulo-2 addition on the pseudo-random sequence and data frame data to scramble the data frame data including first load data, use one section of a part of the pseudo-random sequence on which the modulo-2 addition is performed with the data frame data as an identification sequence, and carry status information corresponding to the identification sequence in frame header information. The sending unit is configured to send the frame header information carrying the status information and the scrambled first load data. Through the scrambling process, continuous run-lengths of “1” and “0” in the data frame data are quite short, while basically the same probability of occurrence is maintained, which is favorable to transmission of the data frame data, thereby alleviating error code problems.

Abstract: A beamforming-based communication method includes: obtaining cell information; when the cell information meets a preset low-load condition, dividing to-be-processed broadcast messages into a plurality of broadcast message groups; determining, based on a preset correspondence between a broadcast message and a broadcast beam, a broadcast beam group corresponding to each broadcast message group and a broadcast beam for sending no broadcast message in each time window; sending the broadcast message group in each time window by using the broadcast beam group; and shutting down, in each time window, the broadcast beam for sending no broadcast message. Some broadcast beams are used in each time window to send the broadcast message, and the broadcast beam for sending no broadcast message is shut down.
