    Abstract: This disclosure relates to the field of communications technologies, and discloses a configuration information transmission method, apparatus, and system. The method includes: determining, by a base station, configuration information corresponding to a target group, where the configuration information is used to indicate a CSI-RS configuration of UE in the target group, the target group includes at least two UEs, and CSI-RS configurations of all UEs in the target group are the same; and sending, by the base station in a first preset time-frequency resource area, the configuration information to the UE in the target group. This application resolves a problem of relatively high signaling overheads, thereby achieving an effect of reducing signaling overheads. This application is applied to configuration information transmission.
