Abstract: This application provides a communications method and device. The communications method includes: determining a first frequency band and a second frequency band in an operating frequency band; and transmitting a first-type frame in the first frequency band, and transmitting a second-type frame in the second frequency band, where the first-type frame is used to carry a first-type service, the second-type frame is used to carry a second-type service, and the second-type frame and the first-type frame have different frame structures. Therefore, in embodiments of the present application, different frame structures are used in different frequency bands in the operating frequency band, and different services are carried by using the different frame structures, thereby meeting transmission requirements of different types of services.

The network device belongs to a wide area network. Some or all system terminals of the at least one system terminal are configured to send at least one first report message to the transmission device, where the at least one first report message is transmitted using a first network transmission protocol. The transmission device is configured to send at least one second report message to the power system control center using the network device based on information in the at least one first report message, where the at least one second report message is transmitted using a second network transmission protocol different from the first network protocol.

Abstract: A communication method includes: determining, by a first device, a first synchronization signal, where the first synchronization signal is used by a second device for symbol timing alignment and frequency synchronization; and sending, by the first device, the first synchronization signal on each group of subcarriers of M groups of subcarriers, where M is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2. According to the communication method in this application, the first device sends the first synchronization signal on each group of subcarriers of a plurality of groups of subcarriers, so that the second device can select, based on a reception capability of the second device, an appropriate bandwidth to receive the first synchronization signal.

Abstract: In a time deviation determining method, a terminal determines an uplink timing advance between the terminal and a base station; determines a one-way transmission delay based on the uplink timing advance; and determines a clock time deviation between the terminal and the base station based on the one-way transmission delay, a time difference between a base-station clock time of a system frame in two system frames and a terminal clock time of a following system frame in the two system frames, and a time difference between the two system frames. In the solution provided in this application, the clock deviation between the terminal and the base station can be determined more flexibly and accurately. In addition, signaling interaction between the terminal and the base station is reduced, and network resources are saved.
