    Abstract: A data transmission indication method and apparatuses carrying out the method are described herein. The method includes sending, by an access point, orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) physical layer signaling to a terminal. The OFDMA physical layer signaling indicates, to the terminal, a subchannel allocated for the terminal, so that the terminal determines the subchannel according to the OFDMA physical layer signaling. The OFDMA physical layer signaling includes an identifier of the terminal and subchannel information corresponding to the identifier of the terminal. A manner in which the access point allocates a subchannel for each terminal according to OFDMA physical layer signaling enables the access point to indicate subchannels for more terminals.

    Abstract: A discontinuous reception method, a terminal, and a network device are provided. The method includes: obtaining, by a terminal, discontinuous reception DRX parameter information corresponding to configuration parameter information supported by the terminal; and enabling DRX by using the obtained DRX parameter information. The method is applied to a communications system, the communications system supports N groups of configuration parameters, and each group of configuration parameters is corresponding to a group of discontinuous reception DRX parameters. A DRX parameter is corresponding to a configuration parameter, and the DRX parameter is adaptively and flexibly adjusted when the configuration parameter is flexibly adjusted based on a service in a network, so that the terminal is better balanced between a latency and power consumption, and the terminal can better adapt to a communications network with a larger system capacity, a lower latency, higher network reliability, and better network availability.

The present disclosure is applied to a communications device in a wireless network, where the communications device is an access point or a station; and the communications device includes: a channel contention module configured to: listen to at least two channels, determine a first channel succeeding in contention, and determine a second channel considered to succeed in contention; and an exchange module configured to: exchange a control frame with another communications device in the wireless network using the first channel and the second channel in order to occupy the channels, or exchange a data frame.
