Abstract: A method for functionally rewriting iterative queries for a relational database management system (RDBMS) is provided. The method comprises receiving a first iterative query, the first iterative query having a first non-iterative part that defines a first main table and a first iterative part that generates values in rows of a first working table based on values in rows of the first main table, determining that the first iterative part modifies all of the rows of the first working table, and rewriting the first iterative part, including: adding a renaming operation to rename the first working table to a new first main table and to rename the first main table to a new first working table, adding a first Delete operation to delete each row of the new first working table, and adding a first loop operation to repeat the first iterative part until a first termination condition is met.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for performing data synchronization between a plurality of computing devices within a communication network includes detecting, by a first computing device of the plurality of computing devices, a changed data field of a plurality of available data fields within a first database table tuple. A bitmap within a plurality of configuration fields of the first database table tuple is updated to indicate a bit location associated with the changed data field. Synchronization data including the changed one or more data fields, the bitmap, and a version number of the first database table tuple within the plurality of configuration fields is sent to a second computing device. A conflict resolution procedure is performed based on a synchronization response received from the second computing device. Abstract: A computer-implemented method for performing application data consistency management among a plurality of computing devices within a communication network includes retrieving by a first device, application data from a second device. The application data includes an app ID and a first application version number of an app residing on the second device. A first database table is updated using an object type associated with the app ID and the first application version number. The object type identifies a database table schema of a data object used by the app and a plurality of data fields of the data object. Data stored by one or more of the plurality of data fields is synchronized with a third device based on a second application version number of the app residing on the third device and the first database table.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an iterative method for estimating covariance matrices of communication signals comprising a) computing a reference symbol covariance matrix estimate (k,l); b) inputting said reference symbol covariance matrix estimate (k,l) to a detector or a decoder in a first iteration, and thereafter inputting the covariance matrix estimate output from e) to the detector or the decoder in subsequent iterations to obtain an updated demodulated or decoded communication signal for each iteration; c) inputting the demodulated or decoded communication signal to a symbol generator; d) computing an updated data covariance matrix estimate (k,l) for each iteration based on data symbols of said regenerated communication signal; e) combining said reference symbol covariance matrix estimate (k,l) and said updated data covariance matrix estimate (k,l); and f) forwarding said covariance matrix estimate output to the detector or decoder in b) to obtain the updated demodulated or decoded communication signal for each iteration.
