    Abstract: This application provides a measurement reporting method. The method is performed in a communication system including a first network node and a second network node. A plurality of paths are configured for one tunnel between the first network node and the second network node. The method includes: receiving a first measurement packet, where the first measurement packet is used to indicate the first network node to report measurement results; and sending a first result packet to the second network node, where the first result packet includes a result packet corresponding to a measurement result of each of the plurality of paths in a first time interval, and the first result packet is used to indicate the measurement result of each of the plurality of paths in the first time interval.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose path traffic allocation methods and network devices. One of the disclosed path traffic allocation methods includes sending, by an ingress node, a measurement packet to an egress node on each of at least two paths, where the at least two paths are paths between the ingress node and the egress node, and the measurement packet on each path indicates path information of each path. The disclosed method further includes receiving, by the ingress node, a response packet from the egress node, where the response packet indicates traffic adjustment information of each path, and determining, by the ingress node, to-be-sent traffic on each path based on the traffic adjustment information of each path.

    Abstract: A loop detection method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: A first node receives a packet from a second node through a first interface. A node segment identifier is encapsulated at an outer layer of the packet. The node segment identifier identifies a destination node. The first node determines, based on the node segment identifier, that an outbound interface for forwarding the packet is the first interface. The first node determines that a loop exists in a forwarding path of the packet. Whether the loop exists in the forwarding path of the packet is determined by determining whether an interface through which the first node receives the packet is consistent with an outbound interface through which the first node forwards the packet, to further adjust the forwarding path of the packet when the loop exists in the forwarding path of the packet, for example, forward the packet along a backup path or discard the packet, to avoid problems such as port congestion and service packet loss.
