The method includes: obtaining, by a first terminal device, measurement configuration information; sending, by the first terminal device, the measurement configuration information to a second terminal device, where the measurement configuration information is used to indicate the second terminal device to measure, based on the measurement configuration information, a reference signal received by the second terminal device from the first terminal device, to obtain a measurement result of the reference signal; sending, by the first terminal device, the reference signal to the second terminal device; and receiving, by the first terminal device, the measurement result that is of the reference signal and that is sent by the second terminal device.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes: sending, by a first communications device, B synchronization signal blocks to a second communications device by using A transmit beams, where each of the B synchronization signal blocks includes an identifier of the first communications device and receive beam time sequence information of the first communications device, and wherein the receive beam time sequence information indicates a time sequence location at which the first communications device receives feedback information; receiving first feedback information from the second communications device based on the time sequence location by using C receive beams; determining a first receive beam based on a receive beam that is in the C receive beams and on which the first feedback information is received; and determining a first transmit beam based on the first receive beam or the first feedback information, where the first transmit beam belongs to the A transmit beams.

Abstract: Embodiments can provide a random access method. In this method, a preamble sequence can be sent by user equipment (UE), and a random access response can be received by the UE. The random access response includes information for sending a message 3, and the information for sending the message 3 is used by the user equipment to determine a beam for sending the message 3. The beam for sending the message 3 can then be determined based on the information for sending the message 3. The message 3 can be sent by using the determined beam.

Abstract: This application provides a synchronization signal sending method and a communications device, and provides a synchronization signal receiving method in V2X sidelink transmission communication. A complementary sidelink synchronization signal is sent in a time interval for sending synchronization signal burst sets, and is generated by using a sidelink synchronization identification of a first communications device. The complementary sidelink synchronization signal may be flexibly configured in a data frame following a synchronization signal frame, and may be sent together with sidelink control information or sidelink data. In addition, sending or skipping sending the complementary sidelink synchronization signal is optional. As a supplement to a sidelink synchronization signal, the complementary sidelink synchronization signal occupies a few resources and is sent at high frequency. Therefore, synchronization reliability can be improved when a vehicle moves fast.
