Abstract: A client device, a network access node for management of control channel monitoring capabilities and corresponding methods and computer program are described. The client device transmits a first control message to the network access node to inform the network access node about its CCH monitoring capabilities. The first control message indicates a set of CCH monitoring capabilities supported by the client device; each CCH monitoring capability in the set indicates a first CCH monitoring capability for a first CCH monitoring mode and a second CCH monitoring capability for a second CCH monitoring mode. Based on the first control message, the network access node can determine a CCH monitoring capability from the set of CCH monitoring capabilities for the client device and configure the client device with the determined CCH monitoring capability. Thereby, flexible CCH monitoring which can be adapted to different service requirements and traffic situations is provided.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for indication of multiple data channels in a single control message are described. A network access node transmits a control message to a client device. The control message comprises a first control information associated with a first data channel (510) and a second control information associated with a second data channel. The first data channel and the second data channel do not overlap in frequency. The network access node further concurrently transmit a first data packet in the first data channel and a second data packet in the second data channel to the client device.

Abstract: A transmitting device and a receiving device for reliable reception of control messages such as downlink control information is provided. The transmitting device forms a control message which comprises control information, a first CRC word (W1) and a second CRC word (W2). The control message is sent to the receiving device which obtains a first CRC check outcome based on performing a first CRC check on the control message, and a second CRC check outcome based on performing a second CRC check on the control message. Thereby, more reliable reception of control messages is possible. Furthermore, the present application also relates to corresponding methods and a computer program.

Abstract: The invention relates to a network access node (100) and a client device (300) for content type indication. The network access node selects a subset of bits among a set of bits in a second data packet 504 associated with the first data packet (502) based on the content type for the first data packet (502). The selected subset of bits is scrambled with a first scrambling sequence associated with an identity of the client device (300). The first data packet (502) and the second data packet (504) is transmitted to the client device (300). Upon reception of the first data packet (502) and the second data packet (504) the client device (300) descrambles the scrambled subset of bits in the second data packet (504) using a first scrambling sequence associated with an identity of the client device (300) to determine the content type for the first data packet (502).
