Abstract: The invention relates to detection and indication of non-fulfillment of latency requirements of uplink data packets associated with an application. A client device monitors transmissions of uplink data packets associated with the application, in a first layer, for non-fulfillment of latency requirements of the uplink data packets. The monitoring is based on a QoS monitoring configuration. Upon detection of a non-fulfillment of a latency requirement, the client device provides a first indication to a second layer. The first indication provides an early warning about non-fulfillment of latency requirements of uplink data packets. Thereby, allowing the client device to take precautionary actions to counteract possible negative consequences of the non-fulfillment of latency requirements. Furthermore, the invention also relates to corresponding methods and a computer program.

Abstract: The invention relates to a network access node (100) and a client device (300) for content type indication. The network access node selects a subset of bits among a set of bits in a second data packet 504 associated with the first data packet (502) based on the content type for the first data packet (502). The selected subset of bits is scrambled with a first scrambling sequence associated with an identity of the client device (300). The first data packet (502) and the second data packet (504) is transmitted to the client device (300). Upon reception of the first data packet (502) and the second data packet (504) the client device (300) descrambles the scrambled subset of bits in the second data packet (504) using a first scrambling sequence associated with an identity of the client device (300) to determine the content type for the first data packet (502).

Abstract: The invention relates to detecting and indicating that a QoS estimate for a radio link serving an application does not fulfill a QoS requirement associated with the application. A client device monitors QoS estimates for a radio link serving an application in the physical layer. The monitoring is based on a QoS monitoring configuration associated with the application. Upon detecting that a QoS estimate does not fulfill a QoS requirement obtained from the QoS monitoring configuration, the client device provides a first indication to a second layer arranged above the physical layer. The first indication provides an early warning that the radio link does not fulfill the QoS requirement. Abstract: The present disclosure provides a mechanism enabling switching between different configuration for a positioning procedure to dynamically adapt the accuracy of the positioning procedure to the current requirements of client devices and/or environmental conditions. The switch may be initiated by a network node which can instruct a client device to deactivate positioning according to a first configuration and to activate positioning according to a second configuration. The network node can determine the second configuration based on e.g. position of client device, density of client devices, current position requirements per client device, network load, and/or available resources. Abstract: The disclosure relates to early detection and indication of a Quality-of-Service (QoS) non-fulfillment in one or more radio links serving an application. A client device monitors for a QoS non-fulfillment in the one or more radio links based on a QoS monitoring configuration associated with the application. The QoS monitoring configuration may be received from a network node and/or derived based on a predefined rule. Upon detection of a QoS non-fulfillment of one or more QoS requirements obtained from the QoS monitoring configuration, the client device provides a QoS non-fulfillment indication to the application. The QoS non-fulfillment indication gives the application an early warning about QoS non-fulfillment on the one or more radio links. Thereby, allowing the application to take precautionary actions to counteract possible negative consequences of the QoS non-fulfillment. Furthermore, the disclosure also relates to corresponding methods and a computer program.
