Embodiments of the present invention provide a communication method, apparatus, and system, where the communication method includes: receiving a packet, encapsulating all or a part of the packet into an Ethernet operation, administration and maintenance packet, and then, according to a corresponding relationship between a port that receives the packet and a corresponding maintenance entity group end point, sending the encapsulated packet to an apparatus that includes the maintenance entity group. The communication method, apparatus, and system provided by the embodiments of the present invention implement IP address-based communication and management for a device that does not have an IP address by means of port mapping and packet encapsulation.

The network apparatus includes a processor, and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory for storing computer instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to generate a resource abstraction layer relating a network cluster including a first server architecture with a first resource set and a second server architecture with a second resource set, to generate an orchestration layer configured to receive a packet flow request and, in response to the packet flow request, schedule virtual network resources based on the resource abstraction layer for servicing a packet flow, and to deploy the virtual network resources to receive and service the packet flow.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an access device for implementing an IP broadband video service, the method is executed by an access device, comprising: receiving by an access device located between a user terminal and a router, a request for demanding a program from the user terminal; determining by the access device that the user terminal has a watching or previewing right for the program; sending by the access device a multicast stream of the program to the user terminal; generating by the access device a billing record comprising the program on demand and information indicating a view duration of the program; and sending by the access device, the billing recording to a video service support system for billing purpose.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method and an access device for implementing an IP broadband video service, the method is executed by an access device, includes: receiving a request for demanding a program from the user terminal; checking a right of a user corresponding to the user terminal; if the user has right to demand the program and is the first member joining the program group, sending the request to the multicast router and then sending the user terminal a multicast stream of the program received from the multicast router; if the user has right to demand the program and is not the first member joining the group, sending the multicast stream to the user terminal; the method further comprises: generating a record comprising program information and time information that indicates program join and leave activities and sending the record to a video service support system.
