A method for migrating configuration information during live migration of a virtual machine is disclosed. The method includes, after receiving a message of live migration that a virtual machine migrates from a source physical host to a target physical host sent by a virtual machine management server, acquiring an identifier of a source forwarding switch of the virtual machine and an identifier of a target forwarding switch of the virtual machine, and sending prestored configuration information to the target forwarding switch corresponding to the identifier of the target forwarding switch, so that the target forwarding switch stores the configuration information. The method also includes sending a configuration information deletion instruction to the source forwarding switch corresponding to the identifier of the source forwarding switch, so that the source forwarding switch deletes the prestored configuration information.

After a terminal receives any piece of control information sent by a management server, if the control information is used to indicate that a foreground operating system of the terminal is a target operating system, the terminal is controlled according to a control instruction carried in the control information. When the foreground operating system of the terminal is not the target operating system, the terminal does not control the terminal according to the control instruction. In addition, the terminal may store a correspondence between a system identifier of the target operating system and the control instruction, so that after the foreground operating system of the terminal is changed to the target operating system, the terminal may further obtain the control instruction based on the correspondence and control the terminal according to the control instruction.

A virtual private network implementation method includes intercepting, by an NDIS intermediate driver, a packet sent by an application program to an intranet server, and determining, according to a PID corresponding to the packet, whether to allow a process corresponding to the packet to use an SSL VPN; when the process corresponding to the packet is allowed to use the SSL VPN, establishing, by the NDIS intermediate driver, a new packet, and submitting the new packet to an NDIS network interface card driver; and sending, by the NDIS network interface card driver, the new packet to the client, and sending, by the client, the new packet to the intranet server. Thereby, a virtual private network is implemented based on process control, and a client has a fast startup speed.
