Abstract: A system on chip includes a memory, a main processor that runs an operating system, and first Intellectual Properties (IPs) that perform respective processing operations. The main processor operates to copy target firmware to the memory using a firmware loader, using a hypervisor, block access of the main processor and the first IPs to the target firmware before verification of the target firmware, and using the hypervisor, grant access to the target firmware by a target IP among the first IPs that corresponds to the target firmware after the verification of the target firmware.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the technology disclosed involve providing a virtual machine instance with license management data to identify and differentiate various virtual machine instances. A virtual appliance may generate license management data in response to a triggering event of a virtual machine. The triggering event may include any of a migration, clone, snapshot, or request via a representational state transfer endpoint. The virtual machine may provide the license management data to a license server and a licensed application configured to run on the virtual machine. The license management data may be used in resource management systems, such as a license management system, to defeat licensing exploits in a cloud computing environment.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may provide for technology that detects an over current condition associated with a voltage regulator in a computing system, identifies a configurable over current protection policy associated with the voltage regulator, and automatically takes a protective action based on the configurable over current protection policy. Abstract: A computer that provides one or more verified personas for a distributed token (such as a non-fungible token or NFT) of a first user is described. Notably, the computer may provide the one or more verified personas for the first user that are based at least in part on their account(s) with a provider of a secure, virtual private network (SVPN) of the first user. Consequently, the identity of the first user may be known to the provider. However, the one or more verified personas may obfuscate the known identity of the first user when conducting one or more discrete secure transactions (such as a transaction associated with a cryptocurrency or the NFT) using or associated with the distributed token. In particular, the first user may associate or link the one or more verified personas with the distributed token, thereby providing the benefits of privacy and selective (as-needed) identification.

Abstract: Technologies for composing a managed node with multiple processors on multiple compute sleds to cooperatively execute a workload include a memory, one or more processors connected to the memory, and an accelerator. The accelerator further includes a coherence logic unit that is configured to receive a node configuration request to execute a workload. The node configuration request identifies the compute sled and a second compute sled to be included in a managed node. The coherence logic unit is further configured to modify a portion of local working data associated with the workload on the compute sled in the memory with the one or more processors of the compute sled, determine coherence data indicative of the modification made by the one or more processors of the compute sled to the local working data in the memory, and send the coherence data to the second compute sled of the managed node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for flexible virtualization system deployment into different cloud computing environments. A set of floating licenses to virtualization system software components is established. The set of floating licenses are configured to permit usage of the virtualization system software components on different cloud computing infrastructures. Workload parameters of a workload to be deployed to one of the different cloud computing infrastructures is considered with respect to cloud attributes corresponding to the different cloud computing infrastructures. One or more candidate target cloud computing infrastructures are selected based upon a comparison between workload attributes of a computing workload and cloud attributes of the candidate target cloud computing infrastructures. Virtualization system software components are deployed into the selected target cloud computing infrastructures. Licenses to the virtualization system software components can float between any combination of different cloud computing infrastructures, including floating the licenses between private clouds and public clouds.
